Picture this...

Question: How are you guys able to post such big, pixel-rich pictures in this thread?
The only way I know how to do it is to email the picture to myself. It asks before sending if I want actual size, large, medium or small. I choose medium and send it to myself

Wow, that is a beauty! What kind of lily is that? My fav is a stargazer. We can’t grow them here. They’d never survive, but they can hang for the spring-summer
That one is an Asiatic Lily, or if you go to Home Depot- they call it a perrenial red lily.

Mine is not flowering right now, but, it is alive and well and has been returning every year for the last 5 or 6 years since I planted it. It survives even here, hell on earth, Texas. We are expecting high temps this week up to 109⁰ F/43⁰C.

Yes, I’ve heard of those. I have lilies, but they flower the one time and done. They do come back next year, but it’s a quick show.

I hope you guys get some much needed rain. We have a semi drought here, but nothing like you and Arizona

That’s beautiful Jeff! Is it honeysuckle??
I think so, but I don't know. It was on Kauai. I saw it as I walked to the rental car in the hotel parking lot on the way to a luau. I saw it and stared at it for a moment, then decided to simply shoot upwards at it. Pretty lucky find...

This picture was done in minutes.. I came home to the forest, found a couple of dead wasps.. took pictures.. Because, they varied so much in sizes... Then.. the light fell so.. well.. intriguing.. On the floor.
So, I took a piece of paper, placed the huge wasp (3,5-4 cm long) on the paper.. And took a picture with my phone 😅
I kinda like the light and shadow thing.

But...I had no big thoughts, no elaborate planning.. I just.. took a picture 😁

This is a great capture 📱 I know they sting and all, but I still feel a little sad for it anyway 😛
