you use software such as paint shop pro and load the image up and then resave it as a jpg. There are several free graphics programs that you can download that will handle this for you.... just remember that if you are optomizing you images for the web.... dont because if you over compress them it causes problems with color bleeding and bluriness. For sites to find the software you need you might try techtv.com or sourceforge.net

www.irfanview.com -- download the free program and use the batch conversion utility to copy every .BMP file in a directory to a .JPG with the same name.

(Or do it one at a time by opening the image with any photo editor that can "Save As" or "Export" images as JPG files.)
