By the way, I understand most people not wanting to open up some strange pic and getting a virus...I'd just as soon have the pic displayed in the post for you instead of the link.....I just do not know how to do it..lol...perhaps one of you can explain it?

you can't hyper link from angelfire or geocities... and possibly a few others.

It has to be a picture on the net.. not on your computer.

You copy the url and hit the IMG button. It opens up a smaller box.. paste the url into that box and hit ok.. type what you want to say.. either before or after the link.

hit the submit reply button..

I was writing my post before you posted..lol...

...I think you may have solved my problem...I have been trying to show pics from my computer...and you say you can't...that's enough explanation for me...

it's a bandwidth issue. When you link to a picture on an angelfire site.. you are using angelfires bandwidth. They pay a set amount of money for a set amount of bandwidth. If they go over that amount they have to pay more. Each time someone was to access this thread.. it would use some bandwidth from angelfire to view that picture you are trying to post.

You can upload any picture off your computer on to lit (except for copyrighted ones) but it will show up as an attachment instead of showing up as a pic. It used to show up.. but because of the strain it was putting on the server it was changed. (If I remember correctly anyway).
