In the case of snakes, that is pretty much good sense. In the case of the Geiko gekko, it seems pretty funny.

I usually can handle it, unless I see it in dirt. If I see a bunch of tiny holes in dirt, I freak out, I can't seem to help it.

The Geiko little one I find funny, it's the real ones, but there are some things I just can not even look at. Like that Mystic drink, ay Dios, I picked it up in a bodega one time and when I saw the picture, fell and broke real ones make me run, run loca and crying. escalofrio,ewww

It is not obscure, but I am afraid of being burnt up in fire. It drove me nuts to go camping when the kids were little. I did not want to build a fire. I think it might have had to do with the fact that I was burnt bad when I was a kid when I ran into a grill. No scars or anything now but it scares me.
