I love reading about them. Some of them seem so bizarre to me.

"You mean someone is actually afraid of that?"

So post your favorite phobias, the more obscure the better.

Spiders. Fuck! Don't get me started.

Worst case scenario: spider clowns. #$%&*#$%$#

I did not even know this thngie had a name, looked it up:

In the case of snakes, that is pretty much good sense. In the case of the Geiko gekko, it seems pretty funny.

Fear of holes?

Does a single hole bother you, or does it take a bunch of them?

I can't imagine you driving a Buick. (random thought)

It's mainly little holes all put together.

I usually can handle it, unless I see it in dirt. If I see a bunch of tiny holes in dirt, I freak out, I can't seem to help it.

What about a fear of a clown that is a spider?

Leguminophobia - a fear of baked beans.

I try not to laugh but wth?

bigrednz likes to wind me up occasionally by licking my lollies because I have food issues. I don't like mushy foods or the thought that someone has handled my food when I haven't seen them wash their hands. ;)

I can understand dreading the results of baked beans. The beans themselves, not so much.

That is true, Balladeer.
The Geiko little one I find funny, it's the real ones, but there are some things I just can not even look at. Like that Mystic drink, ay Dios, I picked it up in a bodega one time and when I saw the picture, fell and broke  real ones make me run, run loca and crying. escalofrio, ewww

It is not obscure, but I am afraid of being burnt up in fire. It drove me nuts to go camping when the kids were little. I did not want to build a fire. I think it might have had to do with the fact that I was burnt bad when I was a kid when I ran into a grill. No scars or anything now but it scares me.
