Philando Castile

Really? This is your basis for racism on the officer's part? Sounds more to me that the officer was repeating back the information that dispatch had given him based on the information provided by the robbery victim(s). That's not racism sparky, it's communication.

Ishmael

You just don't get it, do you? ;)

EVERYTHING is racism to leftists. They thrive on a never ending stream of lies, distortions, rumors, and misinformation.

Facts are totally irrelevant. They will always defend the narrative.

Kudos to the SAF for coming out in support of Castile and the rights of all law-abiding gun owners.

The NRA's silence on this shooting reinforces my refusal to join the group that I see as having racist origins.

Pretty clearly shows the racial bias of the officer in question.

The robbery that the officer allegedly was referring to was committed by two men. Not a man and a woman, and especially not a 4 year old child.

Did you guys actually listen to the call? I am not picking up on the part where the dispatcher tells the officer anything about a "wide nose".

Do you?

The sheriff's office that toubob (a racially motivated screen name) is using to try to claim Philando Castile didn't have a CCL, posts a link to the news report that says that he did.

Whoops!

Two bob strikes again!

Dickie, you are either incredibly stupid or incredibly dishonest. How in the fuck did you ever get the idea I've claimed the victim held no permit? Are you really that stupid, or just that fucking dishonest?

The officer was opining it... "wide nose" is clearly dog whistle racism.

Miles and his leash-holders know it.

You keep harping on the CCL, and it's been stated by every credible source reporting that he had one.

The law prevents the information from being made public, and even the sheriff's office that you are relying on for information links to an article that he had one. You know what I'm talking about... the racist article about Castile "being a criminal" is false.

It's already been debunked, and his girlfriend holding a box of Newports in a picture doesn't change that.

Exactly. Not sure why Ishtard asserted the dispatcher made the reference and the officer regurgitated her racism. Probably down a half a box this morning.

I find it difficult to believe you are as stupid as you appear to be, so I must conclude you are simply brazenly dishonest. It is perfectly obvious my concern is with the lack of governmental transparency in this case. A cop killed an armed citizen. There's an allegation the citizen held a valid permit to carry. The government should disclose to the public whether that citizen held a permit or not. It's a fact known to the government. That fact will not change, whether the information comes out now or later. It's not a fact under investigation by the government, so I'm not buying that excuse for non-disclosure. The government knows the truth about that question, and should disclose it. The victim is dead. No further harm will come to him by disclosing this information about him.

Here's an interesting read

On the Castile case.

It'll be interesting to see how much of what's in the article is true.

Ishmael

If any of this is true regarding the reason why they were pulled over, it's not going to end in the department's favor.

Here's why;
If, according to the theory you linked, the tail light was operable and the officer pulled them over for a BOLO- why isn't there any recording of that?
So either the officer shot a man for a tail light or the cops never communicated, even to each other, Castile was a suspect in a crime.

I believe that there is a very good reason why that information is not disclosed, and its initials are NRA.

What part of "the law prevents them from making that information public" are you having trouble understanding?

The lists of CCL holders is private information, not to be shared...

If he wasn't a CCL holder, the information would have come out already.

Please remove the tin foil hat.

What part of the victim being dead do you not understand? Are you actually so stupid you believe that information will never be made public, because it would be against the law to do so? I'm having second thoughts about you, Dickie. Maybe you are that stupid.

Snopes has already debunked that crappy article.

Try to keep up, old man.

Snopes takes issue with parts of the article.

Castile - Snopes

The license tag on Castile's car DID match the tag associated with the robbery. So the car was wanted but not the driver?

Do you read? Can you read? This turns out to be more proclamations of bull shit from RD just like the pronouncement that the dude in LA was "subdued."

Or your digging up some facts in an attempt to disprove the "cop is 18.5 time more likely to be shot by a black man" endeavor. Apparently you're too fucking stup[id to understand the difference in the meanings of the words, "shot" and "killed." The words are NOT interchangeable. In that the cops today routinely wear body armor they tend to have a high survival rate. So trotting out "killed" statistics to try to disprove a completely different statistic is stupidity on your part, or an attempt to purposely mislead.

Ishmael

The law about not-being allowed to disclose CCL holders information doesn't change upon death.

It's a good thing you're not a horse, because you'd die of dehydration, even after being led to water.

So you actually think the government can never release information about whether the victim held a permit when he was killed? Are you actually saying that?

Holy shit, are you drunk early...

the license plate number mentioned in the audio did match Castile's car, and an alert had been issued about an armed robbery that occurred a few days before the shooting.

Let me slow it down for you, and explain in words that even you can get. I know it's hard to wrap your racist brain around anything that doesn't involve your internal narrative that all black people are bad.

Notice the use of the word and, indicating a separate part of the sentence.

In other words: the car that was stopped, the car mentioned in the audio that hasn't been confirmed, talked about Castile's car. That shows that the audio in question is talking about the Castile incident (the shooting).

Also, if it was Castile's car, that means that the officer was aware that Castile was a CCL holder, and therefore, even more in the wrong, as he had information that Castile may have had a gun (which by accounts I'm reading, was in the glove compartment, by the way), and should have acted more appropriately for a routine traffic stop, rather than relying on a racist stereotype that all black men are bad people.

I'm saying that you're an idiot. I think that's painfully clear.

Hands up don't shoot!

Oh the eyewitness accounts, all the Libs knew IT WAS TRUE!

You can clearly see that there was no broken tail light and a gun in his lap. The truth finally has its boots on!
