No, this thread isn't what you think it is. My cat has attachment issues. If he knows I'm in the house, he has to be able to see me or else he cries. so. loudly. Only thing is, to get attention, he bites. Not in anger, or to hurt, just little nibbles to let you know he's there and wants to be fawned over. Still, kitty teeth are sharp and hurt even if not applied with a lot of force.

The biting is the reason he's not allowed in the bedroom when I'm "entertaining". ;) We just deal with the crying, it sure beats the biting at inopportune times. Nothing like trying to fend off a playful cat while blindfolded and tied.

Still, today he managed to get in. My friend must not have shut the door tight enough to click and the cat pushed it open. This is where he discovered toys are fun...and not his kitty toys either. My friend was of course occupied with other things, and didn't see the cat come in. I didn't see this, but I heard the aftermath.

A loud cat scream, and a "HOLY SHIT I'M SO SORRY!!" from my friend. Seems our feline friend saw the falls on the flogger and jumped at them, thinking they were just really cool strings...except my friend was halfway through his swing when this happened. Needless to say our scene came to a grinding halt as I attended to the poor cat's swollen, bleeding nose.

It turned out it looked worse than it was once I got him all cleaned up...all he got out of it was a little split on the bridge of his nose, and he's fine. But now he won't even go NEAR the bedroom. That might be a good thing.

Looking back now, it's kind of funny since no one got seriously hurt, but keep yer' pets out!! :)

Anyone else have an animal story to share (no, not THAT kind...lol).

My cat likes to chase strings and yes, ropes.

So the ends of lengthy ropes during a bit of somewhat intricate bondage are fair game!

:D

yeah, i have to make sure my hampster (she's a dwarf hamster and is named kuri which is japanese for chesnut and she's black and has a really dark black racing stripe running along her spine and is SO cute!) isn't running around in her ball during play. nothing kills the mood like being run into by a beloved rodent. also, try explaining bunny scratches to a lover "no Sir, i SWEAR that's not from another man, it's my bunny!" sadly, my bunny has gone to wherever it is that good bunnies go when they die. but she had a good life romping around my house and curling up with me when i slept.

Tell me about it! I have big dogs and a small space, so there isn't much play in my space, or space in my play. Better to leave them the whole bed, as they do get sick of sharing that sliver of space I take, and go play elsewhere.

My dogs are small. The stand on their hind legs and paw at the bed and cry and bark and whimper....... ARRRGH. Talk about a mood killer! Put them in the hall and they scratch and chew and cry and whimper and bark and......

They rule the house. I'm just allowed to live here.

Take them for a wok first.

Nav, you are a very bad man. LOL. I think we've had this discussion before. ;)

Lark Sparrow, it wasn't a typo, I'm sorry to say. He says you get used to the taste.
