OMG- this is FUCKING AWESOME!!!
So a lot of you know I'm in the ASPCA- and as a general rule, we hate PETA with the feverence that the United Judean People hate the United People of Judea! So anyway, I get anti-peta shit from my buddies all the time- and one of them sent me this link. This is a flash game on the PETA site, where you play a Tanooki from Mario 3- chasing down Mario who's flying above you wearing the Tanooki suit- only your bald and he's dripping in blood, so I'm assuming that you're the Tanooki whose suit he stole.
I'm guessing PETA doesn't know a whole lot about Tanuki or Tangu- because the actual meaning of the Tanooki suit is far more fucked-up then even the fur trade- whatwith the fetus monsters and all, but they decided to go the "ignore mythology and make it about fur trading" route. Which came out far more awesome then I can believe they thought it would. And not in the way they meant for it to.
