I was listening to the local radio recently. I live in a small rural town. You dont hear such things like this around here I was surprised LOL Anyways was listening and it seems PETA I believe most know who PETA is.. Have opened a brance of S&M tools that are made of synthetic leather saying there is no excuse in hurting animals. That this way it was none cruel S&M

These morons sent a letter to Yassar Arafat recently after a terrorist used a donkey with a bomb strapped to it to blow up 20 Israeli kids decrying use of the DONKEY and asking Arafat to keep defenseless animals out of the way of human disputes

You have an excellent point James... and this, coming from a member of PETA!

While i have always believed that animals are just as important as human life, things of this nature, is just plain stupidity.

i have always said, it does no good to go out and spray paint some's fur jacket, or give people evil looks while they're eating a hamburger, all that will be accomplished is that they will go out and buy another fur jacket... and get pissed off at you because you're looking down on their eating habits and become even more set in their ways.

The way i see it, if a person as any inclination towards such things (like forgoing leather's and eating meat), they will show some sort of interest towards someone like myself, who lives that sort of lifestyle. i personally don't pretch my beliefs to others, although i do make them known. Nothing more, nothing less.

As for PETA and the non-leather BDSM goodies, i think that's great! i have actually been in the process of designing my own line of vinyl BDSM toys and fetish wear. Unfortunatly, my Master and i have been having some pretty bad luck, money wise, and i haven't been able to get things started yet ~*pouting*~ but soon, i swear... i will become the vinyl bondage queen/subbie... ~*lol*~

Most of my leather clothes is fake LOL but the AVERAGE person wouldnt really know. I dont buy any fur or leather... But if given to me.. I wont throw it away. That would be waisting.

Most pleather looks quite real. i will admit to buying leather at GoodWill and such, to me, it's recycling... my money isn't going to the people who... well... you know...

I make dream catchers.. I buy old leather clothes to do so. I figure its honorable to recycle and use them for a purpose of making something out of beauty.

I appreciate that.......I have issues with zealots in the service of any cause. Extremism never serves ANYone. I have no problem with people who don't want to eat meat or wear animal products and appreciate those who live by example & encourage others like you do.
Doing things like flinging blood, attacking women on the Victoria's Secret runway, and most especially writing to the head of a terrorist linked organization to decry the death of a donkey Vs the death of 20 kids will nto win points for ANYone ever.
