I read here and there expressions related to a man's penis; his little brother, little soldier and so forth... I was wondering how do men view their penis? Is it a part of themselves, or an independant entity, an accessory....? Also curious to know if you or your SO (or an ex...) name it?

The source of their self-esteem? Okay, not really. Not ALL of them anyway. I'm just cynical because I've seen too many penis size threads around here.

My hubby's doesn't have a name. If it does, then he hasn't shared it with me. My ex had a name for his, but I'm not telling.

Most of the men I've met consider it to be like a best friend. They talk about it in the third person. Ie "He's ready!" I had an ex who called his penis Spike, which is clearly just a masculine nickname. Another calls his Snoopy, which he claims is because Snoopy actually looks like a penis. I can't say I see it, though.

Now that I think of it, I know a lot of women who take the same "friends" approach to their breasts. One of my best friends refers to them as "the girls." My wife sometimes refers to it as though its another entity, shes never given it a name though.

I do know a girl who calls her breasts "the boys". Doesnt make much sense to me, how can breasts be refered to as boys? That'd be like a guy calling his penis something feminine, like... lucy or something. Just weird.
