Personal Opinion?

I thought horrorotica was giving the personal opinion that the incest category was overwhelmingly being used to play to the underage fetish--no matter what age numbers are given. That isn't mixing the two; that's saying the one seems to be, in large story file proportion, hiding inside the other. That's a personal opinion I also have--and why I read very little in the category and when I write in the category I avoid the suggestion of underage, which is very hard to do.

In real life? It's very weird and I don't understand it but if it's consensual I think people can do whatever they like as long as they don't use it as a method of procreation since that would obviously cause deformities and other risks.

People fool you. His last visit here my oldest pal revealed that his parents were swingers, and two of his brothers are the spawn of our police chief. He was very tall, the two brothers are tall, the other kids are all average height. Back then I thought it was odd how his mom was pregnant when my friend was 18, then got pregnant again.

I would have to agree, the biggest issue is underage influence. I'm shocked by how many people I know personally (almost universally women, or at least they're the only ones that talk about it) were molested as children. It's a sickness that should be dealt with harshly IMHO.

I've read two interesting researches in the past, and may have to look them up. Incest between father and daughter, of ANY age, had long time bad emotional consequences for the daughter. Incest between mother and son, after the age of (16 or 18 depending on the study) had almost no such consequences, and in many cases proved beneficial. Weird, right?

Consenting siblings, especially adults, I have not seen any such studies on, but I have far fewer qualms with these, since the control and authority issues are not the same, unless the older sibling is considerably older, and has some controlling aspect in the relationship (raising younger siblings, etc.)

I have zero interest in any family member, but find that it makes for hot reading and writing sometimes. The romantic, seduction types much more that the ones where a family member is either blackmailed or used by external members of the family while under the influence of the other.
