If we are going to discuss your issues, CelestialBody, I have need of further clarification before I formulate my responses.

1. Why is something between Renegade and myself your issue? Back then you ranted about it on one thread, started a new one about it and still harp on it. Can't he speak on his own behalf?

2. How do you figure I have too much time on my hands? You have 3344 posts in 6 months. I have 1327 in a year and a half. You post 9 times as frequently as I do, if I'm doing the fuzzy math correctly.

3. What am I paranoid about, exactly?

4. What have I whined about, exactly?

5. What do stories have to do with this, exactly?

6. Why don't you have an issue with others who posted personal information about Patryn BEFORE I did? If their is NO EXCUSE, why do they have one and I don't?

7. I didn't see Gingersnap say anything about Indian. She said "your roots." Maybe I missed something. I'm not speaking for her but perhaps she was referring to the fact that you apparently know little about the real world, from the school of hard knocks, and Mummy and Daddy pay your way.

I don't want to speak for CelestialBody. She obviously has her own views which may or may not be different than mine, and that's cool. I agree with some of what she said, so I'll add a little something to this if no one minds too terribly.

Here's what I perceive:

Deborah, I'll get to you first since your post is the most recent. I really haven't seen you outright whine about anything. I do see you as paranoid since you keep trying to unveil some great conspiracy, and every week it's another -I think this person is this other person- thread. Who cares but you? You either 1-genuinely believe it matters in which case you need to get out more because it's making you paranoid or 2-do it just to stir the pot a little. I don't think either one is very cool. I don't know anything about Patryn and by the sounds of things I don't really want to know any more than what's been posted bit by bit in the time I've been here, but I have seen you do some pretty cruel things to people because in your eyes they deserved it. Never mind privacy or respect. Wasn't Deborah in the Bible a judge? That isn't your role, sweetie. Let it go.

DCL-He isn't going to like this, and I don't really care. I could be all wrong but the guy strikes me as a fake. Not fake in that he isn't who he says he is, but fake in how he presents himself here. Every once in a while what I perceive to be the real DCL slips out and frankly when it does, he scares me. I think he has a big ego, but then claims to be nothing special, yet he still hangs it over people's heads that he "can't" post a picture of himself because he's semi-famous. I'd be willing to bet that (was it Sparky that said?) he still puts his pants on one leg at a time. I don't like the fact that he thinks what exasperates him has to exasperate everyone. But I don't have much contact with him so it's never really come up.

As far as you, CelestialBody, I haven't seen a bias in anything you say one way or the other. I've enjoyed your posts, and found many of them to be well thought out and rational. You can disagree without name calling and some of the other bullshit I've seen here, and walk away agreeing to disagree. You are probably what I perceive to be one of the more mature people on the boards, regardless of your age.

Your posts give away a limited life experience. Can't fault you for having all the perks that life has to offer. Just realize I happen to be one of those women who you term "TOO AGGRESSIVE AND IRRITATING". I won't shut up or go away or agree with you on this topic. You are biased against women perhaps it is your background or experiences. I don't know but I do know this. You are harsher in your judgements of woman then men. Your post above proves that fact.

BTW CB several MEN on this board agree with me and they ain't gay.

BTW I didn't mention your ethnic heritage. I was merely going by what you post. So don't try to drag that fish around sweetheart.

Check out the number of "Views" next to one of Deb's posts. I'm not saying you have to agree with what she says. I'm just saying that P.T. Barnum would kill to have her numbers if he was a board member.

I'm exactly what I seem -- a nice guy with a bit of a brain who doesn't suffer fools gladly. I'm not faking anything. I just don't reveal everything. If I truly told you all about my marriage and my kids and my career you'd be bored to tears, and I wouldn't feel so free to say the word "pussy" whenever I liked. In other words, I'm private so I can be profane. If you knew just how nice, loyal, honorable, loyal and sweet I was who'd every take me seriously again?

And I'm not "semi-famous". There are plenty of working actors out there who work all the time and get no where near to being "famous", semi or otherwise. I do commercials. I do TV guest spots (though not recently - concentrating more on my writing these days). I've done talk shows. I've done magic specials that are ocassionally repeated. In other words, I can be recognized a hell of a lot easier than most of you. It's unlikely, but it's possible.

Now, if it were possible for people to recognize you, and given some of the looneys that pop up around here, would you post your picture, or tell anyone your real name. All you have to do is call SAG to get my phone number and address. You think I want some San Diego psycho knocking on my door one day? I have a family. Their protection is more important than my own, and I will NEVER compromise that.

Is that a little easier to understand? Does it seem sensible, without being frightening, or egotistic?

It may also seem egotistical to you because I've mentioned often why I don't post a photo, as if maybe I kept bringing it up to spin my own wheels. But I have been asked many, many times on this board personal questions about myself. I have been e-mailed many, many times by people asking personal questions. So, every once in a while, I go through the explanation I gave above. In other words, I don't bring it up --others have brought it up. I understand that you're maybe reading the posts out of their proper context, and didn't see that as the case. Is it clearer now?

And, as I've said many, many times, an ENORMOUS reason why I keep private is because my Real Life is mine, and I don't know any of you, and that's just the way I want it. Privacy is privacy. That's all.

If I seems scary at all it's really just typing, I swear to God. I'm verbose. I'm good at forming argruments. I have no patience for people who's only purpose is to create havoc at Literotica, a place I enjoy, so I mock and satarize. And you know what? I'm really good at it. I'm not going hire detectives and find out where troublemakers live...That's not how I win. I win by forming better arguments (usually in the form of satire).

I've backed off plenty of times. All anyone has to do is ask me -- and it's done. I backed off everyone from Kid Rock to Patryn, any number of times, because either they've asked, someone else has asked, or I decided that I've gone too far. I have no interest in being a bad-ass.

Who's afraid of me -- really?

Not that we need to go into that again, but, just since you did, please also recall that I was a bigger pain in the ass to Deb than I was to Patryn, and that I put my hand out to Patryn, privately, and on the Board, over and over again, and that I apologized when I (unwittingly) went too far by posting her name (she had done so herself, but I was still wrong to remind everyone), etc. etc. etc.

Apologies to all for making you read about all this again, but it's too eay to blur together events and blithely say that what I did was the same as what Deb did. It wasn't.

I was thinking about this just the other day...I too have noticed that when a semi-obnoxious male poster - a la Lasher - comes on board and gives everyone a thorough but witty assreaming, he's treated differently than a semi-obnoxious female poster - a la Deborah or Madame Pandora.

Not to say that Lasher was universally adored and Deborah is universally hated. I remember the many "I Hate Lasher" threads that used to flood the board whenever he'd go off on a tear on some poor guy or gal. It was no different from the reaction that Deborah gets nowadays (and back then - man, she's old-time Troll Bait). Yet many people will read Lasher's posts and agree, but when Deborah expresses the same sentiment, they take offense.

I like Lasher. I like MP. I like Deborah. I think all three have gone overboard more than once, but that's part of their charm. All three can get away with their wild posting style without garnering a reputation as a troll because they're intelligent and have well-formed (if occasionally wild & crazy) opinions. I'm using these three people as examples only because they're the most controversial, but it applies to all posters to some degree.

I think we should ALL sit back and examine our own biases in regards to male vs. female posters. I have 'em - I know I do. A good exercise is to read a post by an inflammatory poster and imagine it was written by someone of the opposite sex. Read a DCL post where he rips into someone and imagine it was posted by Deborah. Read a Madame Pandora rant and pretend Lasher wrote it. I don't think it's possible for anyone to be 100% gender- or color-blind, but if we're aware of our biases it's definitely a step in the right direction.

I just had a thought and will research it but perhaps did anyone mention Valley Fever to you. If most of his symptoms are pulmonary (coughing and such) it could be the causative factor.

Sorry Laurel didn't really mean to stir up that kettle of fish. I just get so tired of that "too aggressive shit" or "too caustic" , it is so freaking lame.
