Hey guys, been away for awhile . just thought I'd drop in and see how the Lit Gang is doing. Just got done shoveling the walks and had a few minutes to play with my new computer. gotta love a 19" LCD monitor.

Hi Gang!
Hope everyone is warm & dry on this snowy eve. Looks pretty outside, even though it's not much more than a dusting. I hope we get significant stuff this weekend.
To you Gamers & VG - I think that 99% of the games are enjoyed primarily by men... any women out there who enjoy 'em, don't take offense... I'm sure you are exceptional in many ways! I think it's one of those Men/Mars/Women/Venus things where the men can enjoy sitting in their 'cave' battling against oh, whatever (mythical monsters, Iraqis, etc). I had heard that the most popular video game for women was developed in Japan and dealt with dating. Different questions/answers resulted in different responses & levels of interaction with the computer man. No swords, guns or blood! (Guess there was no Loreena Bobbitt version!) My Ex used to spend hours on WarCraft, Diablo, etc. and my boys do, as well. I've certainly never understood how it could be thought entertaining to WATCH another play, but they could cluster 'round the 'pooter screen or TV and become involved in the action, too.
Me, I'd rather chat, read or do an activity in Real Time (cards. puzzles, hike...even watch good TV!)
So, here's a coupla winter questions... When was the last time you went sledding? Made a snow angel? What's your favorite winter memory?

I didn't realize my error with the HTML (I always think of HateMail) until you pointed it out....but I didn't even get the LDS until the others chimes in with their witty retorts! Then it was time to LMAO. I now have this bizzare mental image of Mormons making their house calls & getting licked by hopeful hippies.

Definitely had to be when I was a kid getting off from school because of snow when I didn't do the homework the night before.
Other than that the best time I had in the winter was backpacking in the catskills in January. We spent a few days on a frozen lake, napped a lot, snowshoed some, tracked a lynx one day in snow. Then the next time we went it was -18 F, not so much fun. But hey, survival is cool too.
Games: my vote for favorite video game is multiplayer Goldeneye. After that, it's definitely orgies.
