I've often wondered: If bigger is always better then why don't most women eventually ask to be fisted by their partners? I mean, isn't a closed fist and forearm fairly analogous to an extremely girthy and super long phallus? Of course it is.

Of course, apart from the outer fringe of the BDSM world, most women do NOT want to be fisted.. Nor do most women buy enormous dildos. Which goes to show that most women don't believe bigger is always better.

This is an interesting thought. Is there something intrinsic in the idea of taking a big penis that makes it different than taking a big fist? I’m thinking it is about the shared physical pleasure of PIV sex. While certain men might enjoy fisting, it’s certainly differently enjoyable for a man than having your penis inside someone. Does that knowledge change the partner’s desire?

From conversations I've had with friends, there are a few 'size queens' that really want the biggest they can find but they seem to be quite rare.

Most women I've discussed it with seem to fall into the 'I want it to be big enough to enjoy, but not so big it takes preparation and limits what I can do without being hurt or sore". And of course each one is different for where that falls into, but most seem to fall into the 5.5-7 inch range of length and 4.5-5.5 inch circumference range. Some admit they'd enjoy a larger one sometimes but not regularly while others never want something that large at all.

I think the inherent competitive aspect of men and how we link our penises to our masculinity means men are much more focused on size than woman are on average.

Personally I think its the link to masculinity that makes me enjoy the thought of my wife and I enjoying a mans large dick, but I do find there is an upper and lower limits to what I find aesthetically and personally attractive and my wife appears to be the same (although her range is wider than mine both smaller and larger, she seems to care less about the actual size and more about proportions and the look of it)
