This is purely hypothetical. Reasons for and against are frequently discussed elsewhere, and are not relavent to this thread.
Thank you for not hi-jacking.

There are countless scams around offering fake pills for penis enlargement.
There are temporary methods of penis enlargement (eg pumps).
There are surgical methods to increase penis girth (eg fat injections) & penis length (eg cutting ligaments).

But are there any legitimate, permanent, non surgical methods (eh exercises)?
I assume not, or we'd all be hung like elephants, but I'm curious to know.
(I am not concerned about the size of my penis - this is purely hypothetical.)

Well take a look at this artical. I have done some research on this subject and there are methods that do work IF you are WILLING to put the time in.

Ok, so the guy is OCD and now, he has a stretch mark on his dick ?

Just last week I read an article on Peyronie's disease, i.e., damaged goods, and how difficult and painful it is to fix a damaged penis. Anything is possible, but there is always the question of price.

Yep. And it sounds like he may have some trouble getting and keeping it up, even with Viagra.

I'd be interested in seeing how these guys are doing performance-wise when they're in their 40's, 50's, etc.

The doctor in the article was right: guys who go to these lengths to get bigger cocks have a psychological problem, not a physical problem.

Imagine if they put all of that time and effort into learning how to be good lovers instead of making their cocks bigger!

My father (in his fifties and from all accounts is a great lover) has used a penis pump.

It worked out alright for him. He did get bigger and he didn't get any side effects. His came with a training video explaining how to use it right. You just have to be prudent and only pump a little, when your body get used to the extra size then you can stretch a little more, etc.

And yes the extra size was permanent. Not as big as when he's in the pump, but bigger than when he first stared using it.

I don't want to know how you know your dad used a pump to increase size or is a great lover. *shudders*

Pumps are widely available to help men who have trouble getting it up due to age or medical conditions get hard. I've even seen them in my local drug stores.

Like you said, though, there are some safety issues. Pumping too much or too long can cause permanent damage and untreatable erectile dysfunction. It doesn't seem worth any gains that may result, as most women are perfectly thrilled with an average cock anyway. I'd rather deal with a small cock that works than a bigger one that has problems, and I'd imagine a dysfunctional cock is more likely to cause psychological problems than a smaller cock in the first place.

Men who focus on cock size (or lack thereof) are really unattractive to me. I've dated a few, and it seems like they can't help but make negative comments about it and are always seeking reassurance. Good lovers focus on what they can do and improving, rather than body parts or what they think they're lacking.

That is a great thing. It is a known thing that even healthier men with larger penises have erections that are less hard than the average sized men. When these "natural enlargement" a man becomes older and the plumbing (sorry) can't keep up anymore, how will their body going to cope?

At least some of that effort should be put on being and staying healthy.

It just struck me

You could reverse the genders here, and this would sound a lot like a thread about breast enhancements, with women wondering about the safety and side effects and guys saying "You're fine the way you are! Don't do it!"

Just another one of those gender bias things in life where it's fine for women but not for men ;\

Not to hijck your thread...

but the remark about breast enhancement is spot on and makes me wonder why the hell it seems that we buy into the "bigger is better" argument (whether it refers to a penis or to breasts). Why do we buy into the western mainstream concept of the perfect body? Only a very small percentage of the world population fits this image - so why don't we reject it and love our bodies the way they are?

And to make sure I don't hijack it - I think I'm going to start a separate thread. Thanks for the idea!
