Penile zits?

While searching, I happened upon WillyWorries.com, which should be required reading for those who own or operate a penis.
That's pretty cool. I particularly like this sentence:

Her vagina has a dead end so you don't have to worry about going in too far.

I did, i was just wondering if it was normal for a few to show up the day after shaving, because the zits are only where there is some stubble from shaving.
They were likely there all along, and are just noticeable now due to the lack of hair, or the irritation or exfoliation of shaving. I forget the name, but there's also a skin condition that causes tiny, sometimes pimple-like bumps, and is worsened by soaps and overdrying; it's common in people with allergies. I get it on my upper arms and shoulders, but suppose it could happen elsewhere, and be a result of shaving. My point is just that there are a lot of harmless skin conditions.

I'm no cock doc, but it doesn't sound like there's a cause for concern. If you get blister- or wart-like things, these start to get bigger or change, then you'd be wise to see a doctor.

Thanks for the reply, i figured it was nothing like that , just thought it was weird how they "appeared" the day after i shaved it.

Sheesh, I missed that part in the original post I think. If they showed up the day after you shaved, that's not totally uncommon. I've had razor bumps on my face, as well as my southern regions after shaving. Next time try a moisturizing cream or lotion. That should help.

Abstain from all but the Doctor's touch!

STD...

Just wanted to remind everyone that condoms don't protect against all sexually transmitted infections/diseases!
For instance, genital warts can appear in the pubic area, though not directly on the genitals. Or on the external portions of the genitals (ex. scrotum, woman's inner thigh or outer labia, etc. etc.) This disease can appear and be transmitted where a condom does NOT cover!!!
If you ever see/feel/smell/etc. anything strange on your "naughty bits" immediately abstain from ALL sexual contact (with your bits, anyway), and make an appointment to see your doctor ASAP! Hell, if you're with a steady partner, you might recommend they see a doctor, too.
Some diseases can be carried for years before any symptoms appear. Some diseases never show symptoms, but can still be passed on to partners, and may cause them troubles in the future (ex. sterility, etc.)

So, yes, overall, stop messing with the naughty pieces, and head to the doctor's office right quick!

From a sexual health educator (20+ years)

I second and third and forth the advice to see a doctor. while what you have may be harmless, it's important not to second guess. part of the problem is that certain STDs can look like a lot of differet conditions - would not believe the different types of sores and rashes - all syphilis - that I saw slides of at a recent medical update conference. ONLY a doctor or nurse practioner can tell for sure...

re: everyone's being grossed out about online pics - my first year working in this field I suddenly got a minor case of "1st year med student syndrome" and, convinced that I had to have every STD in the book, went and asked to be tested for everything possible - not a bad idea actually, since in both men and women STDs often have no symptoms until they've done major damage (PID, epididymitis, worse...)

No disrespect to amiss -

note about genital warts - even though some types (there are over 40+ identified so far) have been associated with cervical/penile cancer, most are self-resolving. even though condoms don't provide complete protection against everything, they're the best thing we've got going - don't throw the baby out with the bath water... (same medical update - recent study found that people who use condoms consistently and correctly have lower rates of those STDs like warts and HSV than those who don't)

not to be sex-negative - just protect yourself!!!!

ok, sorry, I'll take my sex educator hat off now...

Probably what is best referred to as *Pearly White Papules* or medically... Papillomatosis of glans corona...

perfectly harmless... I tried to google what one looks like, but didn't come up with anything...

as with any other issue... this is not a medical site... and if you have reason to be concerned... as a doctor...

and until you do... make sure you use condoms during sex... just in case it is an STD...
