Pending Problems

I wrote a story called The Bradley Kids, which I intended to be my entry in the April Fools Day contest. True, I did some self-editing to shorten it to 750 words, but I believe I re-submitted it before the deadline. However, it has been and is still stuck in pending. WHY?

Not being able to see it, I'm only guessing, but it's possible that it's just under 750 words.
