My submissions have been pending since the middle of December.

I have a series (Hunter's Rise) and I usually submit two chapters at the same time. One is more story-focused and the other is more erotica focused. In December I submitted two as I used to but only one of them got published. Both were viewed because the date of publication was changed as if it was just submitted again, which usually happens when the mods take a look at the submission.

I even tried to resubmit it when the next batch was ready but now I have 3 chapters in my series stuck in pending since last week. Previously, when I submitted two at the same time, they got a date for publication within 24 hours. (My chapters are usually short so it's easy to go through them.)

Is this a common thing at this time of the year? Or maybe I should check the chapter where things stopped and maybe change something in it?

I have a similar issue. I submitted a story in early December, and it was pending for weeks. I tried resubmitting it in the first week of January, and it is still stuck in Pending. I've never had this problem with my previous stories, been submitting stories on and off for years.
I tried to reach out to support but haven't got any feedback. If anyone can shed some light on this, I would appreciate it. Once, I had a problem with a story, and the moderator was very helpful and explained what the issue was. Once I had corrected and resubmitted it, it was published without any problem. This time, it is very quiet.

I have been wondering the same thing. First story published with in two days. Now two stories in pending over two weeks. Just started writing here, but doesn't really courage to continue.

Yeah, I'm currently working on a chapter and I feel more and more demotivated since the result is going to be just a 4th addition to my pending folder. At least that's the most likely scenario.
