To venture a guess - Possibly because there are far more people waiting to have their stories posted and that is a more pressing issue?

Most likely true. The new stuff takes precedence.

Still, things have been much slower than usual of late.

I don't think Laurel's swept bombs in over 2 weeks. Mine are certainly piling up! I check each morning hoping for a mega sweep over night. *sigh*

Plus, I've 3 poems with formatting edits "pending" (with 10-20 views apiece) for several days. Very unusual for poetry.

Folks' contest entries have even been slow posting.

I hope all is well with our hosts. It's unsettling when the wheels don't turn as expected -- and no indication as to why.

This has been my concern as well. It seems to be different than the usual way of things and I truly that everything is OK with Laurel and Manu.
