Sorry if this is off topic but is anyone else waiting for their artwork submissions to be published? I've had items sitting in Pending for more than a month.

Art is always very slow, sometimes a couple of months.

my new av went up today... been about 3 weeks. i'm thinking this seems more like a 'once-a-month' to-do list thing though i may well be wrong.

one thought: we take for granted the feature allowing us to change our avatars at will. If we were stuck with keeping the one we choose for all the time we're here, i wonder how that would affect people's choices of image.

I understand that it can be hard at times, but Laurel does this herself.
She doesn't mean to skip anybody or miss anything on purpose.
Between fellow authors submitting normal stories everyday, there are also problems that creep up, as well as contests that are constantly running almost every month.

PM is the BEST way to get ahold of Laurel.

They do not have the star by their name anymore. I dont know if it was fake...but the post has also been removed. I dont actually think theyre a moderator on here. Their profile still says something about being a moderator but apparently not for this site.

Seems like I read that the Chat Mods do, but that's only on Chat, not the forums.

Same boat here and I must admit there is something reassuring to know I am not alone. Submitted a story on 3/04; still pending, no update. Never had a story take longer than 4 days to approve, let alone 14. I assume there is just a ton of backlog for a team stretched thin, but it would be nice to have either the submission FAQ, a warning banner, or something to indicate a pending period of more than 2-4 days. I'll give it the weekend and send a message to an admin if it is still pending after that.

Hi, any tips on getting the stories to go through? I’m getting goofy instances like the same story showing as both a draft and a pending? Additionally I have a story that they keep sending back for dialogue and paragraphs, but my proofreader can’t find a single instance where we violated the more than one dialogue per paragraph etc. I’d appreciate any thoughts from the group, thanks
