I have no idea how it is where you live but we as a society to pay for their mistakes right now. A mother who is ostensibly single which could easily mean that she has a live-in boyfriend or common-law husband that she just doesn't bother to mention can expect to receive approximately $40,000 it available government benefits per year. Many of the Working Poor do not earn that.

I know of no one living on sole parent state support (including my own parents) who is living it up. And yet people continue to complain bitterly about the miserly support they do get. Obviously in the US everyone is absolutely stoked to be providing sole parents with adequate support, which is awesome - admittedly, a little surprising to me, but awesome.

Good freaking grief. Quite clearly I meant embryos aren't human beings. They're human embryos, but that doesn't make them 'people'. They don't have a 'life' any more than your liver does. Do you know how many a women's body spontaneously ejects because they aren't viable? Do you want to have a tiny little funeral for every one of them ... NO. Do you know why? Because they're not people.

I don't "champion intentionally & tortuously killing totally innocent & completely defenseless little human life". I don't even 'champion' abortions. What I'm championing is women's rights to access abortions.

I don't suggest depriving women of their 'natural right to arm themselves against their rapists' (and I'm not even sure that 'arming' oneself is a 'natural' right). I do suggest that women have the right to not assume anyone who attacks them is armed though. As I've said repeatedly, the times I've been attacked by strangers, I've been super-glad my assailants weren't armed - and I'm glad I have the right to assume that.

You might also want to check the research on rape. Most people are raped by people they wouldn't kills - family members, friends, people they love. That's certainly been my experience.

And finally, and again, I've never killed a baby. I may have dropped one once or twice, but he seems fine. Your baseless claim that I have is kind of tiresome.
