A PC for me. Mac's are too expensive in the UK.
And I fly the Flight Sim.

How did you know! It's wearing a red dress and its boobs are hanging out?![]()

I agree PirateMy PC is a dual boot
Win XP (highly tweaked) for games
Suse 10.1 for serious work
Windows is not, and never will be secure. IE is the source of 70% or more of the problems. M$ should start overwith a clean blank screen.
The new netbooks from Asus, Samsung and some otehrs have multitouch. Now if Apple will get off their asses and actually make with a dual multi-touch netbook platform, I would be a fan boy of epic proportions.

I use the pad on the laptop, I really like it.BTW, I use logitech mouse for my Mac. I hate mighty mouse.
Is there any of you who feels the same?
The newer Macs have a two button mouse. It just looks like a one button.
is it better?
I like it, although it takes some getting used to, it does so many things!
I started on a Pdp 11, and used various computers throughout high school and college. never fond of big blue. turned down a 5 yr work study program with them that would have put me through college and all because I would have had to wear a white coat, heels, stockings and a bra![]()
Mac since 1984, it changed my life. The first developers conference and MacWorld expo was a blast!
I will work on PC's if there are no Macs. I used to do software testing on a mac running virtual pc.
In the early days, I had access to mac software that was never released(<-thanks to ms) I used Mac only software, and try to stay away from pc software ported to Macs.
PC, by the force of habit. Not likely to change.
I do wish uSoft would stop messing about with all those stupid peripheral stuff (Are you sure you want to do this?) and concentrate on making a good system.

Their multitouch sucks though. But it's a step in the right direction.
But yeah a Mac netbook would be nice. The only problem is that it will be pretty hard for Apple to do their usual "once again, we revolutionize the world" marketing on it.
They could do it with the Ipod and the Iphone even though they weren't first with those kind of products, because the early competition was pretty unknown and not very good.
Netbooks are everywhere, and are beginning to get pretty neat. And the good folks at Apple would rather chew off their own feet than be seen as trend followers instead of trend setters.
