Jefferson Airplane Co-Founder & Guitarist, Dies at 74

I go to see him live twice. First in Colorado with the Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick, then years later down in Miami during a 3 day concert with the Jefferson Starship.

I met Grace Slick many years ago... I was a teen anger...

My Mom managed a famous hotel in NY that a lot of artists stayed at..... Jeeeze I thought she was beautifull

She was! That body combined with that voice? fuhgeddaboudit!

In her prime, she was a real stoner.

There's a story that she attended the same college as Pres. Nixons' daughters.
There were invitations sent out to some of the graduates and Grace Slick was sent one but to her maiden name.

The plan was to have Abbie Hoffman as her escort and to taint the water at the White House with LSD.

They were stopped at the gates by the White Houses Secret Service. they recognized her.
