I wish you felt more hopeful about your country. I can't imagine what life like that must be like. I was under the impression much progress is being made. I think Apartheid will be an issue for generations. Race in the US is SILL an issue and our war ended almost 150 years ago.

Slavery existed in the US for almost 250 years- institutional racism isn't easily overcome. Many generations under Apartheid suffered the indignities and humiliation of racial discrimination....something that won't be corrected short term. Humanity fails where ever hatred thrives.
