Alas, you're right, but, on occasion while still young and foolish, they have tried insects, however, on the other hand, the Komodo Dragons (a relative of said iguana), eat anything they want, but they are not recommended to be raised as pets.
You can fool some of the Litsters some of the time, but you can't fool all of the Litsters, all of the time.

I've eaten a few insects in my time. Some of them not on purpose.
