I saw a writing contest sponsored by the U.S. Naval Institute and had a warped and (to me) amusing thought.
The USNI's writing contest is a 3000 word fiction piece relevant to the future of naval conflict, intended for publication in a serious scholarly sort of way.
Not at all the place for erotica.
But.... (and hear me out)
A second story for Literotica, paired with the first.
So, a serious bit of fiction exploring, for example, a single ship with near sci-fi weapons and capabilities facing off against superior numbers of conventional ships, and how the captains and their crews think about it. Then, a piece for Literotica about how the skipper gets pegged by his off-duty helmsman, or how a couple of gunnersmates keep getting THIS close when general quarters sounds.
Same ships & crews in both stories, completely different spins on the stories.
