Both. I like both. Stingy slaps do get thuddy the next day, if they are done hard enough.
Clothespins on nipples and elsewhere are stingy. That stays stingy. Then turns achy.
Thuddy hurt to me is usually inside.

I live floggers and once even did a fire flogging. Holy hell it was amazing!! But I really hate the stingy. Lol. I have a camel whip that has never been used because I'm scared. :O

Oh wow!!! I’ve read about flogging but never fire flogging. And as to Fara’s comment on the burn blister thing. I immediately suspected it was a question of materials used and time duration. So I looked.

No. I was very lucky in finding someone who was very experienced. It was a quick thunk, a brief flash of warmth, and off. Also it felt like he was just skimming across my skin. So that's where I stress the importance of having someone experienced. I had watched him a few times and vetted him before I worked up the nerve to try it.

Trust me, not something you do on a whim. Like breath play. It can go wrong so easily so you have to have to make sure of who you are dealing with. He also had a partner standing by with a fire eztinguisher

Exactly. The man I was with knew just the distance to where only the tips skimmed along my back. And how to control it so that it didn't sit on the skin. So let me stress again... NOT FOR BEGINNERS! lol. Well at least not for whoever is yielding the flogger/whip.

I may have said this before, elsewhere: I like hickeys.

I like the idea of being marked by my lover. I like the visual confirmation that he was there - my neck, my breast, my inner thigh. I like wanting it enough to put up with a certain amount of discomfort, and that's where it gets fun!

My pain threshold is pretty low, so a fair amount of this process is as least minimally painful, and the question then becomes, how much pain can I take? How badly do I want this hickey? As I wrestle with myself for the answer, his mouth brings me pain... then pleasure... then pain again. I gasp and squeak and whimper and cry out and laugh aloud, my decision changing as often as the sounds coming from my mouth.

When I reach the point at which the sensations I'm experiencing become only pain and more pain, I'm done. I say stop and he does, because he's fucking respectful of my limits. We survey his work and grin at each other, and I know that I'll ask him to do it again.
