ATO is the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house here at the University of Mississippi. It caught fire, Thursday, and burned down--three people didn't make it out.

Flannel is my real-life name.

Flannel!

At the very least I should have imaged goffered silk.

Imagine my suprise when I found out my name means "washcloth" in England.

Ignore Charley, she's jealous ,her real name is Bruna Polyesther...so pay her no mind.

Oh, I've heard it /all/, I promise. Still, I like my name. : )

Missed the thread that said this was your real name. Thought people were making fun of something about your shirt. Well, if you have heard it all no need to apologize. Besides, it could be worse, really, Blanket is 'bad' ;)

Flannel means more than wash cloth in the UK.

It is a polite term for 'bull-shit'.

Sorry.

Actually, I'm rather quite fond of my name.

Which works out well. :) I've known far too many people who hate their names. I'm not all that thrilled with my own, actually, so I'm quite happy for you.

What's yours?

Oh, it's Mindy. Melinda, actually, but that's even worse.

Not a bad name, I suppose. Just not one that I've ever really liked.

My real name's doormouse.

When I was born I came out looking like a shrivelled up rat and I guess my parents hated me for it.

Hi tissue.

I am /so/ glad I'm not British, then. That'd have been one tough childhood.

I went to church with a girl names Caramel. No one really knew it though, because she went by Carry. I thought it was pretty cool and exotic.

Do you go by your first name, Joe or a shortened virsion or something else? (Like Joe)

curiously,

Amanda
