Having found an Adult Toy store that is BareFoot Friendly, I have again began acquiring some "Devices"(in Frank Zappa voice).

I consider my sex toys as Ritual Tools and as such will only purchase them from stores where I can shop BareFoot.
Does anyone else in this thread use toys in Solo Rituals? If so do you have separate ones for ritual only? Or do you consider all acts of self pleasure as rituals? I do.

I have a question. I was born on Dec 21 which is (according to calenders) the Winter Solsctice or first day of Winter. My sign Sagittarius.
Ok, fine. My confusion is that some calendars extend my sign to the 22, other calenders end my sign on the 20th, running into Capricorn.
This overlapping here then makes me wonder if I'm both Sag and a Capricorn. Is this possible?
I have e-mailed numerous astrological websites re this and none of them have answered me back.
Any light on this would be greatly appreciated.

I was confused - it was the Winter Solstice I saw celebrated.

My teachings aren't in any one book and may be from a combination of countries, but it seems to be a common thread that it is mostly about the purity of the act either solo or with someone else... or multiples, that electricity is out and all other kinks are in. The erotic nature of bathing in a mountain lake while he watches through the trees and so on becomes the stimulas instead of porn. The use of all body parts to stimulate other body parts become the sex toys as well as organic props like scraves and food.

Release of inhibition to speak your desires freely and be accepted for that is key. Having the voice to express limits is also important. Its very Tantric when it comes to the sacred space and what is evoked on an energy level.

I don't know how many times I've heard guys say, "I just need something really nasty to read or here to get me over the edge." or "It takes too long to orgasm so I need porn and/or electric toys." My opinion is that they are not connectiong with the energy and inner self that can be very entertaining. In My case my need to transcend the affliction of Mono-Orgasmia has me pretty much wedded to technology . I have done well in overcoming this with toys and have had less than optimal results with just bare hands.
Altho i have in the past ,when forested areas suitable for Naked wanderings were available, Used Gaia herself for some prolonged and expansive Orgasmic Offering rituals.

I have wonderd if simply being a bit toasted and totally Naked with my clothes left at home may have provided an adrenaline boost that caused such a level of arousal.

It was an reference to Classical Greek tragedy,the Play "Oedipus Rex" by Sophocles .

Oedipus becomes king, falls for his mother, offs his father and punishes himself by putting his eyes out and stringing himself up by his ankles , hence the title Oedipus, greek for "Swollen feet"

also source of name for Feudian concept of Oedipal Complex
