And a blessed Solstice to you too, friend )0(

Hey, guys! Hope everyone had a good Yule. Our celebration at home was quiet and nice, once we got back here. :)

I had a good time online last night until I had to take care of an 'emergency' for the wife. Grumble grumble.

Later, I had one on my own. It too was special. Very good night indeed.:)

I think it went particularly well especially as none of us had ever tried an online ritual before. It was actualy kind of funny at times coodinating the parts :D

And humorous as well with Killswitch and Loving Tongue and even Never... They all enjoyed themselves and I felt were respectful. (KS is just silly like that but meant no harm)

I want to thank you all again from the bottom of my witchy lil' heart

And for those that couldn't be there, I know you were in spirit ;)

Hey Imbolc is next! We should do it again... And who here can't wait until Beltane? That should be interesting

Peace all

How did you find your way?

Through the grace of the Lord and Lady... I think once I stopped riding the hamster wheel of life, things became clearer.

Deep inside I've always known that connection to all life... We all do eventually, maybe not in this life though. Everyone is on their own karmic time line

But about 25 years ago a little book found me called "The Kybalion, Hermetic Philosophy" and all of a sudden it all made sense

Peace friend

Thank you :rose: I'm hoping others will also answer the question. At the moment, I'm kind of lost.

You're not lost, you're seeking. Meaning you are conscious and aware there is more to this life

And that's a very good thing. There are many paths. Be cautious of just jumping on any bandwagon though

How did you find your way?

I had been searching for a long...long time before I even knew I had been searching. Then, I happened to talk to a person on an airplane who was, as he put it, following Pagan beliefs since they seemed to be far more balanced and true for him and his life.

After that, I began reading...anything I could find. Slowly but surely my path became clearer...until now I am following that path I wish I had been on all my life. Coming to Celtic Druidism this late in life is better than never having found it...but being solitary as I am, it is difficult to know...and truly understand some of the things that come.

In the end, you path will find you. Keeping your eyes open and not jumping at every little thing that comes along, but researching and discovering for yourself, that is where you find, at last, where you need and want to be.

Good luck and many blessings on your journey to your own enlightenment.:)

ahh for me was 1975.. a humanities teacher i had she opened the Door to my path.. i am Ovated Bardic Druid.

she gave me my name.. it is Bachall.. the shepherds crook.

I knew then it was the path i was called to be on.

when one finds the path it is like a light as the gates open...

flooding the soul.

blessings and peace be with you SG.

and Image I hope you have had a tolerable holiday.. and that you got all you wanted but not more than you need.

Thank you :rose: I've done the reading and research and I guess that's why I'm lost. What I've learned has caused me to question my original path.

Too many paths

And every day they are creating more... See, The world is realizing that the Patriarchal, mainstream religions just aren't fullfilling needs anymore. The peoples are becoming more aware and know there is more out there

But they are getting bogged down in the same way that the past Western religions have been...

Just saying be careful... There are too many but realize there really is only one true way and that is within your own heart

Trust me...I had a few moments like that myself. Coming from a very holy roller Christian background...well, I had a time realizing that the differences between what I was now following and what I had been raised in...were different but somewhat the same.

In the end, your heart knows the right way for you. Take your time...listen to your heart...especially in a matter like this. Sometimes your head will try to go back to whence it came...causing you to doubt much of what you learn. In the end, you will find your path in any event.:)

My path has no name other than Earth I think. Herbalist, and Midwife (though not officially but close), energy worker, and farmer are pretty much it no matter where on Earth I may be or which culture I might be involved with.

Study helps us see the pros and cons of every path. Then we get to select the elements that work for us and cast out that which holds no power anymore.

If it were labeled I would be a Native American, Pagan , Sufi, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian I guess.
