My path has no name other than Earth I think. Herbalist, and Midwife (though not officially but close), energy worker, and farmer are pretty much it no matter where on Earth I may be or which culture I might be involved with.

Study helps us see the pros and cons of every path. Then we get to select the elements that work for us and cast out that which holds no power anymore.

If it were labeled I would be a Native American, Pagan , Sufi, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian I guess.

Thank you :rose:

I think my greatest hinderence is that I'm solitary by nature (read extremely shy) and most paths involve groups.

Actually you're greatest asset is being solitary... Though there is a lot to be learned from others

Hey! THE MOON Is FULL! Everyone go check it out! And the weather is perfect!

It's kind of hard to learn when there's no one to help.

And you're right, the weather is perfect. It was grey and overcast earlier; now it's crystal clear :)

How did you find your way?
I left fundamentalist Christianity and felt completely lost, as I'd defined myself by it for over thirteen years. I searched for what I did believe and how I could express it, and the Gods found me. :) So I woke up and realized I was Pagan.

notice how small the Goddess Moon is... it is cause the Goddess Earth is sleeping.... and Arianhod is watching over us.

She shines in my window and across my pillow all night long... I watched Her set yesterday morning too

Good Morning Dhalgren :rose:

Full Moon

The Moon here was truly silvery Gorgeous!!

As is my custom, due to the density of the subdividion I live in,
My Main solo Skyclad ritual was performed in My windowless office/studio.

Last Night I added an extra working .
I waited til the last of the Xmas lights in the neighborhood went off (at least ones surrounding my house,) bundled in a black hoody and sweats with leg warmers and went out into my yard, BareFoot in the snow to cast a Peace spell that was posted on a Reclaiming list I belong to .

At 29 deg I was grateful that I could do it in about 6 minutes .
:D

I have been forced back into shoes by the weather for pretty much all of this last mooncycle and despite the cold I really, needed to caress Goddess with My Naked Soles. I was aching to search for Her energy thru Her Blanket of snow
Judging from the state I was in by the time I was Skyclad and casting My circle. She must have missed Me too !

is good evening.... and a good belated morning to ye also Image.... i always post before i go to work makes my day pass easier....

I understand the barefoot thing... I've been in the snow with naked soles myself, albeit was just a few minutes

Good to know someone's doing a ritual for peace. I think we'll need it.

Hey all. It sounds like I missed a great Yule celebration here! I've been so busy posting on a pagan board that I haven't been around here much lately. It's nice to see you're all keeping this thread open :)

If done well it can be a very sensuous experience, I always find more than a touch or eroticism in the thought of My unwiliness to totally abandon the sensual intimacy with Gaia that a BareFoot Lifestyle provides .

I often wonder if my willingness to develop "extreme BareFooting " skills is a sort of submission to Goddess ?

Nah.. this thread is like the natural turn of the wheel. Slow but ever evolving and steady...

Feel free to contribute anytime you want

I was walking my dog around barefoot at 5:30 this morning and the paper deliverer looked at me like I was nuts. Maybe it was the big flannel dress that made him shudder, but more likely it was that it was under fifty degress and had been raining.

The air waves are so clear in the pre-dawn and I love to be in contact with the ground when I can. I also don't like socks that much and only wear them when I have to.

Cute tootsies. :)

Don't ever let that bother you.

(bear in mind that this is coming from a 52 year old male who wears toe rings <LOL>)
I have had a couple of health scares in the last few years ,including the storng possibility of impotence.

In this light. being stared at drops completely off the radar !<LOL>

I am no longer willing to deny to myself or other Pagans the degree of pleasure and erotic enhancement I derive from the practice of a BareFoot Lifestyle .
Going about as much of my daily business BareFoot as I possibly can has become a spiritual discipline for me. It relates to opnenness, simpicity and respect for Earths fragility.

When viewed from a Pagan standpoint, i.e Earth as Gaia, or Goddess and sentient spirit,
It seems almost obscene to not celebrate the gift of errogenous Feet by keeping them Naked to Her energies and Blessings.:rose:

Hehehe whose tootsies are you complimenting ??

Solstice Magic

Greetings! I was born on the Winter solstice (Dec. 21) and this year for the first time I celebrated the Holidays away from the traditional Christmas. I'm a gay male, and (if this makes any sense) being gay has always made me feel somewhat closer or akin to the "old ways" and nature. There was lots of incense, candles and other objects in my house instead of the usual Christmas lights, ornaments, etc. There was also a full moon all Yule week. At the same time I wouldn't say I'm totally "pagan" because I think life involves a mixture of lots of things. This time around though, I felt closer (and I think I better understand) my place in this universe...(I love this thread!) :)

hope all had a tolerable passing of last year to this...new one..

and ask the goddess to bring all that seek peace.. to that point in the journey.

blessed be all.
