There are so many ways the LW category can be interpreted. But readers expect one pattern: She cheats because he has a big dick and then BTB or RAAC.
Finnegan's Wake would probably score badly too here, but there are people who consider it to be exceptional.
Adapting your writing to please the largest possible audience would make sense in a commercial setting. But here on Lit you have the freedom to publish what pleases yourself, even if it only has a small audience.
