I was neither born in 1999 as my name suggests nor am I a 40something as my profile mentions any more….

Turned 50 during this goddamned pandemic.

Not sure there is a vaccine for that.

When I turned 50, I got a couple of letters from some organizations welcoming me to being a Senior. Never been in contact with these organizations but someone was telling me I'm now an old bloke. I'm waiting for my next for birthday to see if I get a letter welcoming me to the 60's club. Would rather get cash, but that never happens.

I'm going to a family-friendly bbq. Great little group of folks, variety of ages and life situations, everyone's very chill. Last time there was tri tip, dudes jamming on guitars, and I got to hold a baby all evening.
