Mid Winter here. Not sure if it's colder this year or I'm just feeling the cold more with the weight loss since last Winter.

Still 59, so on the cusp of another decade on this planet. The only thing I qualify for next year is the Senior's Card we have here in Australia. Doesn't get you much apart from half price at the movies and some discounts at some shops.

Hoping we can get thru till the end of the year without too much more drama in regard to COVID. You guys in the US are far ahead us in Australia in the vaccine rollout. Well done on that. Stay safe everyone.

Not sure about the disgracefully bit, but have the ageing thing down pat. Thinking of growing the beard again for the rest of the Winter. Did it last year mainly since we had to wear masks everywhere. Didn't see a reason to shave. Although when I did grow a beard last year someone compared me to Santa since my beard was rather thick and wavy. Reminded me of when I had longer hair in my youth. For some reason I looked younger with a beard. Seamed to attract more women as well, not sure why.

Weather much nicer today. Sun is out but rather windy. No doubt more wild stuff to come.
