Our gang is lacking

Why can't a WOMAN be the lead role, huh?

Well mainly because it doesn't fit the mold, and if I were looking for things that broke the mold then I'd wouldn't have started this thread.

Re: Re: It's because I'm a Brit isn't it...

In no movie I've ever seen was the British guy the suave lead.

Can't remember the names of their movies but here's some suave British guys who took the leads...

Richard Burton
David Niven
Laurence Olivier
Anthony Hopkins
Sean Connery
Roger Moore

:)

james bond is the ultimate classy suave guy :) and he gets all the birds (apart from the lesbian ones) :)

roger moore is a smarmy git though :)

Nope, Bob Peale is Bob Peale. And I've got the 33 stories on Lit to prove it.

Yes, know list the movies they were in in which they were in a group of archetypical guys and they fit the role I describe.

Have you even been paying attention?

Which is great but I'm James Bond in my head.

If you've got an opening for a mystical magickal zen dude, I'd like to apply.

I've always thought of Dill as that fifth character. Not one of the main gang but definitely one of the crowd.

Also, we need a soundtrack. I'll get on it.

"Ode to Joy", "Song of Joy", "European Anthem", all the same thing, is perfect just playing softly in the background as the villain menacingly approached the helpless victim. the the music can then burst into its full volume choral section as the suave, British, sophisticated lead (you know the one who always gets the girl) bursts through the window after being swung there on a rope from a hovering helicopter, to save the day...

Perfect just perfect...

:D

Who cares about sauve and debonaire, anyway?
It's always the wise-ass that steals the show.

I know someone who could almost fit both roles. Unfortunately, he doesn't post at Lit. :p

I'm thinking that we need:

A song for the opening, when you see us all going to school
A song for the big party scene
A song for the scene where one of us is preparing for a hot date
A song for the scene where we see the hot looking girl for the first time
A song for when we win the big game
A song for when one of us breaks up with a girlfriend
A song for the second big party scene
A song for when someone gets the hot looking girl
A song for the end when we realize what we've learned
