I feel really dumb asking this but I'm dam near 30 and I've NEVER had an orgasm. In my dreams, OMG, if I could have those dreams every night I wouldn't ever care about it but alas they only show up when I'm pregnant. Anyway, in the past things would just feel like quick shocks that I honestly didn't care for and they just made my body jump and I'd put a stop to what ever the person was doing (I've tried masturbation and the same thing happens). I finally took someone's advice and bought a vibrator, a very specific one... the jack rabbit since it seems to get a lot of good reviews and I tried it today. All I can say is WOW! I didn't orgasm but the feeling was way different, the intensity built up like a wave rather then an electric shock, is the wave what's actually normal? I can see why people actually like sex if this is what its supposed to feel like! It was a lot like my preg dreams:D

First welcome to lit. :rose:
Congrats on the start of what sounds to be a wonderful journey, as they say you are never to old to learn.
I just know some of lits ladies will be along, but you might also like to browse through THE BLANK MANUAL as it has information on so many subjects and also this thread which is about orgasm specifically.Try this and..

I'm not a woman, but...

It sounds to me as if you were experiencing the very beginnings of an orgasm but "stopped the show before it reached it's dramatic conclusion".

I suggest that when you feel those "quick shocks" again that you try to ride them out.
