indeed, but would Israel still not have bombed them to pieces anyway?Imagine if all the $billions the muslim states sent Hamas for weapons had, instead, been used to pay for hospitals and schools and food and starting businesses and building roads etc etc etc
personally, I don't believe hamas should exist any more, but I don't equate hamas with being Palestinian any more than I do a trump-cultist with being a Patriot. And if hamas has no say, something else will replace it... something else Israel still will reject. It's up to the Palestinians, under a two-state initiative, to remove current hamas leadership—replacing it with a 'watered down version dedicated to peace and the people'—or to do away with it altogether in a democratic decision.
