Operations Fast & Furious

Let me sum it up you." I made you look like the retard you are*.:D

The 1986 Firearm Owner’s Protection Act provides that “No such rule or regulation prescribed after the date of the enactment of the Firearms Owners Protection Act may require that records required to be maintained under this chapter or any portion of the contents of such records, be recorded at or transferred to a facility owned, managed, or controlled by the United States or any State or any political subdivision thereof, nor that any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or disposition be established.”

From Berlin on January 6th (1941) the German official radio broadcast--"The German military commander for Belgium and Northern France announced yesterday that the population would be given a last opportunity to surrender firearms without penalty up to January 20th and after that date anyone found in possession of arms would be executed."

In 1941, U.S. Attorney General Robert Jackson called on Congress to enact national registration of all firearms.8 Given events in Europe, Congress recoiled, and legislation was introduced to protect the Second Amendment. Rep. Edwin Arthur Hall explained: "Before the advent of Hitler or Stalin, who took power from the German and Russian people, measures were thrust upon the free legislatures of those countries to deprive the people of the possession and use of firearms, so that they could not resist the encroachments of such diabolical and vitriolic state police organizations as the Gestapo, the Ogpu, and the Cheka."

One federal gun registry for 4 states, not hard to grasp lil grasshopper.
Nope, still can't find anything about this. Nothing about a requirement to register handguns anywhere in the country.

Maybe somebody else can actually spell out what the issue is. There seem to be a few who claim to know about it.

There ya go off in stupid land again. Long guns are not handguns. But check California and New York for registering handguns if you are interested in that. I'm not.

The gun registration requirement imposed on the states of Texas, Arizona, California, and New Mexico, as a direct 'retaliation' for Fast and Furious guns from dealers in these states falling into the hands of drug dealers by armed ATF 'request', is in the process of being defunded by congressional action.

To hide this legal perversion, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (and Really Big Fires) initially called the registration scheme a 60-day “emergency” regulation. Which made the long gun registry sound like part of tightly-focused, minimally-invasive, time-limited piece of needs-must police work. An exception that proves the rule to stop the flow of American rifles to Mexican drug cartels.

Within a month, the ATF’s registration scheme became a 90-day “temporary” program. Then it was a “one-year trial” program with automatic renewal and possible national expansion. And then, surprise, the Office of Management and Budget torpedoed the plan. They claimed they did so because it didn’t square with President Obama’s public declamation of the federal red tape afflicting the salmon industry.

The drug thugs have been buying military and law enforcement weaponry sent to the region by the U.S. government for at least a decade. Including grenades, grenade launchers and fully automatic rifles.

No use trying to make sense to that clown. He doesn't even know the basic facts of the case. He has to be instructed from the ground up, a waste of time.

He's (BND) entitled to his opinion, that this is nothing more than politics, but he is not entitled to his own set of facts.

;) ;)

I see where Issa just sent a seven page letter to the President outlining various court decisions on asserting executive privilege, telling him he's either involved in the management or planning of Fast and Furious, or involved in it's cover-up, which is it, he asks.:D

HEY! BoyNextDoor!

You need to read "My Country Verses Me" by Dr. Wen Ho Lee to understand how the Feds "create" process crimes when they want to "get" somebody!

Bill Richardson should be in JAIL!!!!!!

Funny how the only information you have on those registries comes from the NRA.
