Operations Fast & Furious

He doesn't want to jeopardize an "ongoing" investigation. I bet they giggle themselves silly over that remark at the Justice Department.

Giggle?

They are in utter awe of the brilliant advice they got from their white handlers in the White House...

More like out-of-water fish gasping.

Even Before Fast and Furious, They Had Guns on Their Minds

What Obama administration officials, including the president, knew or didn't know about the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives' 2009 Operation Fast and Furious has little to do with what they should have known.

Attorney General Holder, Secretary Clinton, President Obama, and Secretary Napolitano each declared that he or she did not know about Fast and Furious until 2011. But what should they have known about a federal program that eventually led to mass murder?

In a 1999 web article on leadership, writer and attorney Jonathan Wallace examined the question of when to hold those in power accountable. He begins with a two-part question: "did he know or should he have known?"

‘Furious’ failure

The American people deserve an explanation of how “Operation Fast & Furious” went from a bad idea to a law-enforcement disaster. But Attorney General Eric Holder seems more interested in shielding his underlings from prying congressional questions than in providing answers. Holder needs to find out who signed off on this “gunwalking” experiment and fire those responsible.

There is no dispute about what happened with Fast & Furious. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives let people with known connections to Mexican drug cartels buy more than 2,000 firearms in Arizona, walk them across the border, and deliver the guns to the cartels. The guns involved have been implicated in more than 200 killings, including the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010. At that point, the department stopped the program.

Looks like Fast and Furious has been successfully buried and forgotten. Too bad investigative journalism is dead.

Eric Holder’s Greatest Hits…

Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder is hanging by the proverbial thread these days as members of Congress prepare for a decisive push to remove Holder from his position as head of the Department of Justice. For anyone left wondering what the fuss is about…here’s just a brief list of some of Eric Holder’s “greatest hits”

FAST AND FURIOUS
Failed and deadly gunrunning operation known as Fast and Furious that internal memos clearly indicated was implemented in part to initiate newly legislated gun control laws. Thousands of high powered weapons went directly into the hands of known criminals and continue to be used in crimes to this day. Nearly 100 members of Congress have indicated no confidence and/or are calling for Holder’s resignation largely due to the Fast and Furious debacle alone. Accusations of cover-up of Fast and Furious against Eric Holder persist and he is due to testify before Congress again on the matter next month.

NEW BLACK PANTHER VOTER INTIMIDATION SCANDAL
It was an open and shut case – video evidence and an earlier completed investigation by the Civil Rights division of the Department of Justice confirmed that members of the radicalized New Black Panthers had violated voters civil rights during the 2008 presidential election. Soon after being sworn in as Attorney General, Eric Holder ordered the case dropped. Internal memos showed an environment within the Holder DOJ that had no interest in prosecuting any civil rights cases where Whites were the victims – only cases where minorities were victims. It was a shocking revelation of institutionalized racism that continues to permeate the Obama administration to this day.

REVEALED IDENTITIES OF NINE CIA OPERATIVES
In what was a gesture of purely politicized pro-Muslim support, Attorney General Holder compromised the safety of nine Bush-era CIA interrogators responsible for obtaininginformation from suspected terrorist operatives. Each of these individuals and their familieswere put at great risk for retaliation from Muslim radicals for their role in providing valuable information to help secure the safety of the United States and its citizens. Attorney General Holder then called those responsible for revealing the identities of those CIA interrogators “patriots”, creating an environment of fear and uncertainty within the CIA that continues so long as Eric Holder remains at the Department of Justice and Barack Obama remains in the White House

COVERUP OF ELENA KAGAN "OBAMACARE" INVOLVEMENT
Holder refused to provide Congress with information about Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan’s health-care-related role when she was President Obama’s Solicitor General. Elena Kagan supposedly quit working cases as Solicitor General for the Obama Administration in March of 2010 – after ObamaCare was signed into law. She refuses to recuse herself from hearing the Obamacare case NFIB v. Sebelius, a case that her staff was actively working until the day she left her position. Kagan will rule on a law she helped write, defend, and pass, when serving as Solicitor General. The Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed President Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder and demanded full disclosure of Justice Elena Kagan's role in crafting Obamacare. He has not asserted any legal privilege over these documents, but has simply refused to provide Congress with the information on the grounds that it would be 'unseemly' to reply with the request. Recently released documents show that contrary to claims by administration officials, Ms. Kagan was not 'walled off' from discussions about Obamacare. Further, they show that she personally supported the legislation.

The Democrat Senate had to lower the bar to knee level to confirm that asshole.

They had enough reason to doubt his integrity after his involvement in the 2001 pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich.

He's nothing more than a political hack with a cause.

Holder is a reflection of the entire Obama regime.... he's the slimiest, most corrupt AG since John Mitchell.

Another ATF weapons operation comes under scrutiny

Members of Congress want to see whether White Gun, like Fast and Furious, lost track of firearms that ended up with Mexican criminals.

Reporting from Washington—
In the late summer of 2010, the ATF agent leading the failed Fast and Furious gun-smuggling operation in Arizona flew to Mexico City to help coordinate cross-border investigations of U.S. weapons used by Mexican drug cartels.

Hope A. MacAllister wanted access to police and military vaults for American weapons recovered by Mexican authorities in raids and at crime scenes. She especially was interested in firearms from another ATF investigation, code-named White Gun, that she was running.

Obama to Congress: I’ll decide what’s constitutional

Congress placed a provision in the $1 trillion omnibus spending bill for 2012 designed to bar the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from using any of its $30.7 billion taxpayer funds to “advocate or promote gun control.” However, upon signing the bill into law, President Obama issued a caveat of his own:

I have advised Congress that I will not construe these provisions as preventing me from fulfilling my constitutional responsibility to recommend to the Congress’s consideration such measures as I shall judge necessary and expedient.

In other words: “Congress may pass laws, but I decide which of its laws are constitutional and which I can simply choose to ignore.”

Holder facing further ‘Fast and Furious’ grilling

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. will testify again before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on the Justice Department’s response to the controversial “Fast and Furious” weapons investigations in which hundreds of guns were “walked” to drug smugglers in Mexico.

Committee Chairman Darrell E. Issa, California Republican, on Wednesday said Mr. Holder - who has been the target of several rancorous House and Senate hearings over the Fast and Furious operation - will be asked on Feb. 2 to address “management deficiencies” within the department that occurred both during and after the botched undercover probe was shut down.
