Operations Fast & Furious

But a more revealing accomplishment was his role as point man in the kidnapping of Elian Gonzalez. After applying for a court order to seize the boy from his legal guardian, Holder went ahead with the operation without one, then baldly denied that Elian was seized at gunpoint. Holder was not fazed by the fact that millions of people throughout the world had seen Alan Diaz's disturbing photo.

Good, but long, article on how F&F and Treyvon are part of a pattern...

There's a more sobering version of Niemöller's litany. It's not something a lot of people would have given much credence to before the presidency of the man who vowed "to fundamentally change America."

When they nullified the 10th Amendment, I said nothing because I was not a libertarian.
When they nullified the 2nd Amendment, I said nothing because I was not a gun-owner.
When they nullified the 1st Amendment, there was no one left to speak for me.
Unfortunately, the 1st Amendment, and our other rights, depend ultimately on the existence of the 2nd Amendment.

Nearly 1500 posts from conservatives here but the general public still either doesn't know or doesn't care.

WHAR IS TEH OUTRAGE?

Worth repeating:

ROMNEY ASKS WHY PRESIDENT OBAMA WON’T RELEASE FAST AND FURIOUS DOCUMENTS

It’s about time: Mitt Romney has responded to the Obama campaign’s scurrilous insinuations about his private-sector past by wondering when President Transparency might get around to letting us see those Fast and Furious documents he and Attorney General Eric Holder have been protecting:

As Romney noted, Fast and Furious is “not some personal matter,” but rather “the action of his administration.”

He might also note the Obama administration’s extreme reluctance to disclose information about such actions as its “green energy” loans, or Gulf oil drilling moratorium. The Senate had to use subpoenas to pry information out of the Administration over the Fort Hood shootings.

This is surely one of the most secretive Administrations in history, a point highlighted with Kafkaesque absurdity when the Obama administration censored 194 pages of internal emails about… its Open Government Directive.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill’s description of Russia, Barack Obama remains a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, issuing loud whines about other people’s lack of transparency.

Romney needs to beat that drum as loud and often as he can.

Still no traction with the General Public!

What is wrong with the Right Wing Noise Machine...they used to be able to control the message!

Apparently the left is ok with the killing of "smelly brown people". *lil chihuahua's favorite saying.*

I hate to agree with Rob, but ... this appears to be a story that the general public has moved on from. Can you be "worse then watergate" if no one cares?
