I've never bought the trickle-down theory.
I'd rather the "people" had the power and the money,
and the corporations had to work for their gain.
Let them serve us in some way to earn it,
rather than stealing it from our hip-pockets
while we watch vacuous politicians
wave the flag a lot,
and claim over and over that
they are right
because they have God on their side.

I'm strictly an
". . .of the people, for the people, and by the people . . ."
kinda guy.

All the other stuff they make up
about how it's really good for us
that they rob us blind, is just poppycock.

All at once excited and apprehensive at the same time. (I hope there aren't any cameras!)

Phooey, I didn't pack any bathroom necessities!

Making another mental note to ask TOG if I may have a room for myself so I can keep a few things here.

Snapping on the lights... what a surprise! Clean and comfortable... romantic even. I wonder what they other rooms hold?

:sighing: As I make my way across the room assuming its to the bathroom.

Snapping on the lights once I push the door open. :smiling: Spacious and stocked!

TOG thinks of everything!

Admiring the gold accented and brushed chrome faucets. The marble tiles, huge bathtub with claw footing, his and her sinks, shower stall, dressing table...

I could live in here!

Turning the water on....and spy a bubble bath bottle.... and a rubber duckie!! Time for some fun...

I bound up the stairs to let
Alex know that I have to leave.

Steam is pouring out of the bathroom,
and I'm hesitate for a moment
about barging in on her.

Knocking softly

"Alex, I gotta go.
No, no, I don't mean it like that.
My bladder is fine.
But I wondered if you wanted me
to lock any of the doors so
you don't get surprised by anyone.

AFTER TOG leaves ( this girl is modest!).. I quick grab a towel and dry myself off. Feeling oh-so-fine, I pad over to the dressing area and slip the rose coloured silk robe around me and begin to brush my hair.


Once that's done, I leave the bathroom and smile. Bedtime!

Hop into bed and snuggle under the covers....

Too tired to post tomorrow's menu and besides have plenty of food ready for the patrons.

We're trying to revamp the music here at the
B L U E M O O N C A F E

We have, of course, the jukebox, and we
will always take suggestions for what music
you'd like to have available there.

But we're also thinking of having some live acts,
and maybe even an amatuer night.
Any volunteers? Any requests?

Homemade Breads:

* Corn Bread from scratch

*Healthy Whole Wheat Bread



Soups:

* Hearty Vegetable

* Borscht ( my babochka's recipe)



Salad:

* 3 leaf salad with balsamic vinegar and olive oil



Entrees:

*Rigatoni w/ Mushrooms and Onions

~~ Shredded mozzarella placed moments before being served under high heat.

*Stuffed Bell Peppers

~~Green and Red bell peppers, wild long grain rice, mushrooms, shallots, stewed tomatoes, and peas.



Desserts:

* Fruit and Nut Baked Apples

* Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding

It really wasn't a brawl. Granted it could have turned ugly (if it had been a total moron I had been speaking to) but TOG and I are civilized and being that our views are different we still managed to agree on some things.


As for sex scenes... :huge smile: I just received a fabulous Sex Book from a girlfriend (for my birthday)! I shall be using it in RL <oh yeah> and here to spice things up. Plus, nothing beats reading a romance novel to get the mind's juices flowing again.

Hi McKenna....not sure if all my scenes of the intimate nature are ever the same. Depends on what kind of mood has been set and what is called for i guess.

Have used online story repository sites to help me plus a vivid imagination...*grins*...hope this helps a little...

Well Henry, it could be that I'm just a worry-wart, too, and I'm worrying for nothing. That has been known to happen occasionally too!

Maybe it's the "voice" of my writing that is the same every time? I suppose this could be both a good and a bad thing; good that I have developed a voice at all, bad if that voice is inadequate.

Maybe what I need to do is venture into something with which I'm not familiar, something that will force me to use my imagination in ways that I don't usually use it. That could be an idea... now, what to venture in to?

McKenna im a worry-wart too ive been told and i am my own worst critic when it comes to my writing.

I feel my writing is stagnant, bland and at times not erotic enough....but readers could see it differently.

Have been trying to think of a new thread idea for a few females to join or just one and at the moment i can't think of anything... I love my writing and feel a bit lost i suppose you could say without it. My main reason for first joining lit was to write , make friends and surf the boards came a lot later.

Hope that makes some sense. What would you like to venture into though can be the hardest thing to work out...I have tried a few and loved most if not all of them...
