OOC - To buy a slave

NEW SLAVES PLEASE READ

We're very glad you're interested in playing in the thread and you are very welcome here. But there appears to be a superabundance of slaves and a dearth of owners. So please have a plan to join the thread rather than just posting and hoping that someone will buy/abduct you. If you don't have an owner already lined up then you may end up languishing for a long time. Alternately, you may end up writing a monologue until you attract a writing partner. (Which is how I got sucked into this thread. )

While this is true in general, for any thread this size, at this particular moment I am playing a master, who is presently on the market looking to purchase a slave. I wouldn't mind/would like to play with two slaves, and there is presently only one on the selling block. So if you are interested and want to make sure you have an owner ready to take you without the lengthy wait Otto mentioned, PM me.

Appearance: She is short, of average weight, and has light skin. Long, fiery red hair that cascades well past her shoulders. Hazel eyes that sometimes change color depending on health or mood. (it happens >_>). C cup breasts... ok I'll stop there..

History: Nami is a young girl brought up in a small village, who had been arranged to marry some guy but plans changed when she was abducted and put on the slave block. She has never been a slave before, and is a virgin. She is feisty and will not submit unless she has a strong Master to make her.

Race: Half Human Half K'zin

Hair: Mid-back length black with natural copper highlights
Eyes: Sea-green while in human form, Ice blue in her feline form
Physical Appearance: Milky white skin, almost a cream-ish complexion. Ryanna is a healthy individual; she is slim and supple in all the right places, she is also somewhat toned. On her upper left arm, there is a set of claw marks. They appear to be from a tiger, but are larger than they should be. Since she is half human and K'zin, Ryanna can shape-shift into a rather large cat, with markings like a white tiger. She doesn't shift often, because it saps her strength.
Attitude: Ryanna at times, can be cocky, but this is mainly a front. At her core, she could be accused of being gentle.
Background: Raised with her human mother, Ryanna, at 20 years of age, left in search for her father, a K'zin. While she travels, she is ambushed by slavers. As she is already weary from traveling, she doesn't have the strength to shift to her feline form and escape. She is shackled and brought to the city's slave blocks.

Appearance: An average looking man who often hides most of himself behind a dark cloak. He has short, spiky auburn hair, and blue eyes that are calm like the sea.
Bio: He speaks very little of his past, and all that is really known is that it seems that he has stumbled into a bit of money and is interested in purchasing a slave. Once his past is investigated it would appear that he is the product of a session between a master and slave. As a result of his birth, he finds it hard to be cruel to slaves, and feels sympathy towards them. He seems to be more interested in those slaves that still have a free spirit than the ones who are broken and willing to do whatever is asked of them.

Marcus paused at that point, it was frustratig beyond all reasont o deal with retard which he was certain this girl was. No human being in their right mind would risk permanent disfigurment over a moment of pride. There was definitely something wrong with this girl. Still she wasn't his and he couldn't be certain Jason would approve of such an extreme form of discipline.

"You stupid fucking whore." He growled as he continued to stare at her. He could let her call his bluff though, if he did any respect she might have had for him would be lost so the blade was finally dragged down her cheek, from just beneath her eye to her chin. It wasn't deep, if she was lucky it might heal without a mark but that wasn't likely.

She didn't know why he did this, but she looked "No point in trying, I try to please and it bites me in the ass later, this is why I fight you" Looking into his eyes. "I have done things for you, but you never thought it was good, whats the point of me to respect you, if all I do is wrong"

Seriously I can't deal with this. I cannot deal with somebody who's level of descriptions are this low AND there level of realism is this low. I'm sorry nobody man or woman would both let a man cut them rather than call them master and then show no pain afterwards. I've tried to be patient, I really have but this is fucking rediculous. Somebody give me a heads up on how I'm supposed to deal with this?

I don't see why he bothers. Don't get me wrong, I'm far from the perfect role player. And I've come fromplaces where the newbs are so far ostracized that they have no chance to learn which is wrong. But I'd still rather have less good role players than a bunch of people who can't do anything. I've tried and tried to give her different things to react too and she always give me nothing.

How much more basic than cutting do I need to get? Doesn't she feel pain, or fear or anything remotely human?

Maybe her character is broken? Maybe she suffered some extreme trauma and is no longer phased by physical pain. We could put it towards that. Then again, she hasn't really seemed to have given you much to work with though. You could always just send her back to Jason, make her someone else's problem.

And actually, threatening to send her back might be the key. I don't know.

No she hasn't given me shit. I can work with alot of things but I need a bone to be tossed to me first ya know? I suppose Ic ould send her back to Jason, that would atleast make her somebody esles problem, and at most give me something different to play with.

Its just frustrating right now.

The arrival of 'Rose' has pretty much put a stop to the story between my character and Sean's because we seem to spend all the time trying to get something out of her...
All the constant arguing and ridiculous changes in her character's story on a moment's notice are not helping either.
I don't know what else 'Marcus' can do, or would do, other than send her back...

I really might not have a choice but to send her back cus I don't know what to do, her story is inconsistant. Her charachter has no depth or realism. At this point I'm largely just venting publicly btw. Yeah guess I'll stop.

That's aside from the whole 'it's so cold, so very cold' aspect...if previous posts had been read I thought it was fairly clear that it is more than warm enough to sleep outdoors as 'Marcus' and 'Trianna' have done several times so far...why don't people read...???

In all fairness however cold is a relative thing. I'm from southern california. Cold starts at 70 and freezing starts at 55. At 40 I stay inside and refuse to run from my door to my car. All you east coasters are laughing at me though.

This is true...I guess my perception of 'cold' is a little different...
Here in Finland, it's not considered really cold until we hit -20C (I think that's about -5 or something in farenheit... ) even to us non-Finns it honestly doesn't feel that cold until it's -21C or so
And of course when we hit the -30/40C time of year in late December/January...you tend not to go out unless you really have to

I know I would be wearing like 20 layers of clothes everyday. I'm in the states, the northern part, and I freeze, I should be living in the south, it's warmer there *pouts* I'll be there in about a year though. ^_^

I'm from California. I don't even know what cold is! It doesn't happen here I have two seasons. Hot and less hot. The good news is that when I went to Kuwait it wasn't too bad. 140 degree weather, shruggle. I'd prefer to knock off say 40 degrees but it's no big.
