OOC: Ace Combat - A World Divided
Greetings all,
This is a storyline based upon the "Ace Combat" flight-sim video game series
- It is the year 2020, war has again plagued the world. This time, all countries are affected by this - from past to present. The Independent States Allied Forces (ISAF), Osea and Yuktobania report that Erusian forces are making a move to a deserted island in which they had previously attempted to lay siege to ISAF several years ago.
It is during this time that an unknown power arises. Belka declares itself a free state from Osea, and manages to be acknowledged from other world powers. Belka unknowingly provides Erusian forces with weapons, ships, aircraft - anything needed for a full-scale war.
The president of the Osean Federation is assassinated when making a speech regarding Belka's newfound sovereignty. Osea progresses to march into Belka - until the unexpected happens. On July 17, 2020 - Osea is pummeled with 7 nuclear bombs. The same amount which Belka had detonated over their own land nearly 25 years ago.
A cascade effect happens between these countries: Osea delcares war on Belka, Osea is bombed. Yuktobania declares war on Belka - Erusia declares war on Yuktobania and Osea. Which leaves ISAF alone.
ISAF is left to decide when to fight, and for who - it is only a matter of time. Our story starts off with a squadron of 5 ISAF aircraft flying over Yuktobanian airspace.

I used to go by the handle 'delphicRENDERER' here. I have returned as you now know me as 'The Apparition'. I'll be participating in both this RP, and the Sexual RP forums.
As far as characters go, I'll leave it up to any of you to decide, should you wish to join. You can be ISAF, Osean, Yuktobanian, Belkan, or Erusian. Let it be known that Belka and Erusia are considered the "bad guys" for this story. I don't know exactly the length this story will go, but I have it in my mind that this may just progress like the games do.

Callsign: "Peregrine"
Age: 28
Height: 6'1"
Weight/Build: 199 lbs/fair build, slightly toned
History: ISAF pilot who's whereabouts are the flight lead over Yuktobania, where the story takes flight. Ranked Captain.
