Heads up: I'm planning on writing in Blair tonight hopefully. I was thinking of making her more of the "middle man" between Jack and Emmy, despite being the oldest. Though she still obviously looks out for Emmy, she's less protective than Jack and wants Emmy to experience things for herself. They aren't as close as Emmy and Jack however, but that's because Blair's always out with different guys.

If you have anything else in mind for the direction of Blair's character please let me know!

No, that's perfect. Siblings operate that way some times, particularly if you have a protective, loyal character such as Jack and one a bit wilder like Blair; I see Blair also being concerned for Emmy -- obviously, she would never want anyone to hurt her -- yet feeling that the girl should "get her feet wet" concerning "boys"; after all, Blair's having fun with men, so why shouldn't the other girls, right?

Remember that I wrote Blair climbing out of the swimming hole with all of her "wares" on full display for Monty...? Well, I don't see Blair specifically wanting JUST Monty to be interested in her; I see Blair being interested in any City Guy at the party who might be able to show her a good time, in bed or screaming down the highway in his Ferrari or watching the sunset from his City penthouse or what ever.

Now, I'm going to propose one more thing, but I want BOTH OF YOU -- Snuggles and Lonely -- to know that this is just a whim and DOES NOT need to actually become part of the story. (This was a PM I wrote to send to some one who was interested in the role of Blair, but I can't recall if I sent it; I may have sent it to Lonely, who can remember?)

Are you interested in exploring an incest-curious storyline between Pete and Blair? If not, PLEASE TELL ME SO!! I would never ask someone to write something they didn't want to participate in.

My thoughts are these:

1. Blair is promiscuous.

2. Blair loves her father.

3. Blair doesn't see sex between ANY TWO CONSENTING ADULTS as anything wrong

4. Pete can feel desperate at times, and we already that he fantasizes fucking Blair, although never did he ever think that such a thing would ever happen, of course; it's just fantasy!

5. Blair might want to help him with that desperation.

6. Who know what might happen if they found themselves alone and feeling horny...

(Of course, since I first wrote this, Evangeline and Pete have been getting along pretty well. But, who knows; they might not hook up, and things might get "interesting" when Pete and Blair get home...)

But like I said, DON'T go for this unless it's what you want to do with Blair. Obviously, Monty is going to try to make a play for Blair at the party, even while he's still trying to hit on Emmy and Jack.; hell, he's already seen Blair naked, by her own choice!

Let me know. We can work it in later or something, or totally forget it!!

Anyway, Lonely, let me know about the above, in a PM or a short post here so that Snuggles can see it, too; either way works. Oh, and if you don't have pics for her, I have some ideas there that I came up with when I thought I was going to have to write her myself. (I have no problem writing a female character. I was just didn't want to write her if she was having sex with one of my own characters. I've written female characters who were having sex with other females before, but writing both sides of a sex scene is ... well, defeating the purpose of Role Play, isn't it?)

Oh, and BTW, if anyone wants to know where I am getting all of my pics, I found a gal here on Lit who was using pics from a modeling site, and when I went there to fill the role of a vampire character (that I unfortunately never wrote) I found that some of the models have MULTIPLE pics that can be used for a variety of scenes. It's so cool. If either of you want to go there, this is the http://www.newfaces.com/ What I like about it is that you can use what ever pic you want for what ever situation. For example, I have pics of Monty in suits, casual wear, standing with Pete, bare chested, standing with a super model, etc. You will see many of them used over time. (If you wanted to switch your existing pics to models with multiple pics, you could ALTHOUGH I AM NOT SAYING I WANT YOU TO. I am only saying that if you wanted, you could.)

Just a reminder, probably unnecessary but still:

Emmy won't be "having sex" obviously until she's 18.

Lit rules of course. But that doesn't mean that the various men who have an interest inher won't be making their plays.

I'm thinking that Monty will use the birthday celebration as an excuse for a "teen" only party ... with the intent of being the first to get to her. Then there's that damn kid, Tommy. Hmm, gonna have to deal with that punk.

Ok, that's disappointing. I can't get into the IC Thread, and I think I know why -- the 17 years of age thing. Ironically, I only realized it after I posted the above reply to ensure everyone KNEW emmy would NOT being having sex

Of course, there could be another reason, but I don't know what it would be. I'm making an assumption.

I need the two of you to do me a favor if you don't mind: could you PM the SRP forum moderarator, SweetPea4U or one of the others, and assure them that Emily was not going to violate their >18 limit. I have already done so myself, but I don't know if they will get it; for all I know, I have been banned cuz I am the host.

I have never run into this problem before cuz I have never violated that hard and fast line, so I don't know what it's going to take to get the IC thread up and going again. Are the two of u able to get ointo it? (Sorry about the spelling and grammar errors. End of my lunch, hurrying

FYI: I am going to post for Monty in about 30 minutes. The party will be just getting going. There will be expensive cars in the driveway, valets, beautiful people -- from both the city and locally -- and more. Just so you can consider your posts.

We can no longer mention ANYTHING specific about Emily's age, obviously. I will come up with an ingenious way to ensure that anyone who might read the thread will understand that she isn't -- we aren't -- doing anything illegal or against the Lit' code.

The rule to live by is this: If you think a moderator might take it the wrong way, don't say it at all.

I like the web site www.newfaces.com for a couple of reasons:

1. You can search by gender, age, hair color, etc., finding exactly what you want in a character. I always restrict my search to models only -- no actors -- in an effort to find a face most people likely have never seen before. (I hate when people use celebritites to represent their characters. It really ruins the fantasy.)
2. The first possibilities have multiple pics, allowing you to use different poses, wardrobes, locations, and more during the course of the RP.
3. The level of advertising in the pics is small, and sometimes is totally absent. If you use an online photo program like photobucket, you can even edit the advertising out.​

If anyone is unfamiliar with how to download and manipulate photos, I can do it for you. Either point me toward the model you want to use, or I can simply pick one that fits the role.

Lonely asked a good question: is it okay to post for two characters in the same posting?

Absolutely, particularly if they are talking to one another.

Use your best judgement. This is how I make my decisions: if I have two characters talking to one another -- as Monty and Tommy were in my last post --- of course, the conversation is in one post. But if my characters are not interacting with one another, I usually put their actions in different posts, such as Monty and Pete, who haven't even met yet.

But, like I said, use your own judgement. There's a very gray area between what's easier to read/write and what seems more realistic in the way you post.

Hey you two, you may have noticed that my last post for Pete was looooong. It was actually much longer before I toned it down; it included many paragraphs for each of the three girls. But I realized that the two of you would be reading all week trying to catch up, so I deleted a bunch.

Anyway, the reason I'm writing: I gave each of you some back ground. I don't think I overstepped any bounds; I pretty much just expanded on things that were already written about. But, if I did, please speak up.

Okay, so slight, teeny, weeny problem. Monty has no one to get laid by tonight, and he's never thrown a party after which he didn't get laid.

So, here's my question: is anyone interested in writing his lover, a woman from the city who knows what he likes and is always on "stand by" for these events?

We wouldn't write it until tomorrow, probably. I have family coming here in minutes. And it would just be a sex scene, with the woman pleasing Monty any way he directed ... Then, the next morning, sending her home with some grateful "compensation".

If not I will write the scene myself, which would be fun, too. But I wanted to offer the role first.
