Just to letcha all know, all the parts are up for grabs, even Captain emerson, as I wish to play the part of the being in the pod.

Science Officer

Lt. Commander Savok, applying for position of science officer.

Savok is Vulcan (of course, gotta have one on a star ship). He is approximately 79 Sol years old. Like most Vulcans, he is adept at being logical to the point of annoyance. However, Savok is also comfortable around humans, and use many of their idiosynchancies to better communicate with them. Prior to serving in this assignment, Savok served aboard the USS Endeavor as a science officer. Endeavor's mission was to catalog the Borg's activities and build a tactical database to be used in the case of future conflicts. Savok is somewhat of an authority on the Borg, as well as many other anti-Federation species (Cardassians, Romulans).

At the risk of sounding like a nitwit...

I'd like to play the ship's counselor, but I'm afraid I am completely new to RP. Do I come up with an original character or is one already established. Not quite sure what Star Trek:Frontiers is, but I've loved Star Trek in all its permutations so I would love to be involved. Please realize I will not be offended if I'm sent back to SRP with my tail between my legs. I know newbies can be annoying.

Argos Hempler. A young engineer, the youngest one to be docked Chief engineer on a warp drive space ship. Makes him feel a little warm inside.

Permission granted AmenRa. Jump right in, I will even go in an edit my post to mention Savok. With what I have planned to be in the pod Savok will fit in quite nicely. Thank you for joining.

Honey B, come right on in, it shouldn't be hard at all for you to join, just need the basic feel for star trek, which I think you do, seeing as you are a fan. Either give a name and a brief guideline about who and what your character is, or jump right in with a post that gives us a feel for your character. Pretty much what AmenRa did, stating that he wants to be a vulcan science officer. It does help to have a few interesting quirks about your character right off the bat like he did, but its not nessisary, cause all that CAN be revealed as you play along. It just makes it easier to have it established from the get go is all.

So, something like a betazoid councelor who practices herbalism, or something like that for example. The more little quirks you give the more the character becomes yours.

It will be fun to see how this turns out, thank you both for joining.

All righty then..

May I present, Septana Gor...

Pooh, I couldn't resist. If Worf and Troi would have had a daughter, she would have grown up very much like Septana. She's only a quarter Klingon though and a quarter Betazoid. The other half is human. She can be sympathetic up to a point, but watch out of if you get too whiny. (Kind of sounds like my personality. Remind me to check my parentage.) Anyway, Septana has a radical new theory for conflict resolution, battling through your issues, literally. Oh and she realizes Starfleet is taking a chance on her, especially since she is only twenty five.

Let's see, physical appearance...

From her father she received her height, strength, and fiery dark eyes. The delicate vertical ridge running up her forehead is of course Klingon as well. Her mother's delicate features have been handed down to Septana, as well as her long dark curly hair and lush figure.

Now if you will excuse me, I've got to go look up recipes for gagh.

What about a security officer...

Okay...I haven't decided on a race yet for sure, but I'm actually thinking about a defected Borg, not one connected to any sort of hive, but one who's been detatched from the mechanisms that have enslaved him by the species...except of course, for the ones he's now dependant upon to survive.

Name: Ben (Yep, just one name, but maybe Ben isn't best, let me think on it....)
Race: Borg/Human (human before assimilation)

Description: Captured by Starfleet in a long-ago battle, Ben has been on ice (literally) for quite some time. He has little memory left besides basic skills that is, but as he experiences places, people and things he's known before, memories tend to resurface. 6' even, no hair, pale-ass white, dresses all in black. Ben is almost indestructible, as his bone tissue has mostly been replaced by the Borg with a strong metal. He is emotionless, though his emotions slowly will return to him, and he is always dependable.

Oh, and to answer your question about why the thread was called Frontiers, Honey_B, thats just to give the thread a designated name, to distinguish that its not next gen/voyager/ds9/whatever... Best I could come up with off the top of my head at the moment that I wrote it...

Telnak joined Starfleet disguised as a Vulcan to spy on them and send back information back to her home. At first she hated being in Starfleet but soon came to realize that they were there to bring peace to the galaxy. She tried to tell her superiors that the Federation wanted nothing but peace but they would not listen and she was branded a traitor. She knows she can never go back to her home world or she would be killed instantly and wonders how she can tell Starfleet without being killed.

Something based off the emh program that was aboard voyager... Can have the portable transmitter and everything. Heheh!

Cheif Security Officer John Stone

Born in a deep space station, Stone has never been to the human homeworld of Earth. In living his entire life in deep space, he has become a very removed person and takes his job a bit to seriously. He distrust women officers as he has had bad experiences with them in the past. When Captian Emerson was given command of the Hera, Stone was transferred to the ship as Cheif Security Officer. He requested the transfer because he did not work well with his current captian, a women.

Basia, there's more than enough bit parts for ya, if thats all you want, but you can always be a more important character if you like... At any rate, the ensign opposite Rock is completely open for you right now if you like.

True-Life, I think Quiet-Cool wanted the security officer, but it doesn't look like he's posted... Maybe get with him, see if he is still in, either way, you can be a security officer, if he still wants the part you could be something like a night time officer... So you both could play that sort of character?
