Anyone interested in a storyline based on this sci-fi series? Our Slider characters don't have to be the same (we could be from an alternate earth). The original characters were...
Quinn Mallory : Jerry O'Connell stars as Quinn Mallory, a handsome, genius college student who discovers the means of travelling to parallel universes.
Wade Wells : Sabrina Lloyd stars as computer whiz Wade Wells, Quinn's good friend whose unrequited love is a source of tension.
Rembrandt "Crying Man" Brown : An entertainer unwittingly caught in the momentum of the initial slide on his way to sing the national anthem at a local sports event.
Professor Maximillian Arturo : Quinn's brilliant if somewhat pompous physics professor who reluctantly acknowledges his student's genius and decided that he must accompany him on the scientific ride of their lives.
Of course, being alternate universe characters, these backgrounds could differ wildly - even gender doesn't have to be the same (Professor Maxine Arturo? lol).
Lots of possible scenarios with this, I reckon.
