I'm playing Havok, I pulled his physics love from the comics where everyone seems to forget the regular version of Havok has advanced degrees in geo-physics. His surfing comes from the Evolution TV show.

Code Name: Storm

Real Name: Ororo Monroe

Mutant powers: Weather manipulation. She can sense and influence meteorological energy patterns, including any form of precipitation. She can control the humidity and temperature in her immediate vicinity, induce lightning and other electrical atmospheric phenomena and disperse natural storms. She can also generate and manipulate winds, thus allowing her to “fly.” Her body acts as a lightning rod. She is at her strongest outside, with all atmospheric elements at her disposal.

Her body has adapted to her elemental power, automatically adjusting to small temperature fluctuations with a high tolerance for dramatic changes. Ororo learned quickly that her emotional state has a direct impact on the atmosphere, so she has taught herself to maintain control of her emotions at all times. Whether through discipline and/or the fact that she is an energy wielder, Ororo has some natural shielding that prevents casual telepathic contact from those with whom she has no connection. The shielding is mild and has no real bearing in combat situations.

Nightcrawler, Storm, you're in!

Story is starting to take off, but I think we're going to need women. Jean, Jubilee, any of the new mutant girls, Rogue, Wanda, even Mystique.

On a different note I have to decide what to do with my out of place post there (Betsy don't go). I'm leaning towards deleting it, but I'll take suggestions.

Powers: Can project energy into the ground, causing seismic mayhem. It is not known how well Lance can control his powers but he seems to have pretty decent control over them. Using his powers can be very stressful on his body, giving him headaches.

Movie VS Cartoon

I was kind of expecting the Kurt Wagner from X-Men Evolution the Cartoon, with the image inducer, not Kurt Wagner the angel-glyph tattooed mutant from the movies.

Maybe I should rewrite the intro post on the OOC

And Lance Alvers is a go. I was always a fan of Dominic Pedros, but keeping in the tradition of the cartoon, go nuts. And don't feel confined to Kitty. Especially since we don't have one.

I suppose I could alter my post. I really only saw a few episodes of the Evolution cartoon. So I don't know too much aside from the old comics, the old series, and the movie...

Nightcrawler was a longhaired prussian kid, i think, in the series...he was given a watch that projected a holographic image of a normal kid to cover up his mutation, though sometimes the tail slipped free

Yay! That means I get to keep the accent. lol. Yeah in all honest, I really dig nightcrawler so if someone wants to give me a very brief crash course on the difference between the nightcrawler I know, and the one in evolution, I'll see what magic I can work.

well, basically, in the movie, Nightcrawler is an adult, following the original comic's version of him, the one who ended up with Excalibur....in Evolution, he's a kid who was sent to Xavier's mansion because he didn't fit in among the people of his home. he loves burgers (can't remember the brand they use in the series) and is in general very much a jokester
