Okay, everyone, this is the OOC for our continuation of our schools The Professor Charles Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters and The Mass. Academy run by Emma Frost.

I am in the process of putting together the thread in which we will continue our role playing.

Here are the characters I know of. There will be an OOC thread to go along with it, and I would appreciate it if everyone would post their character descriptions and powers in the OOC thread. You can just copy your old post from the original, if you want.

Lucas

CHARACTER: Lucas, age 18. Race, Native American. 5', 11", 175 lbs. Yellow eyes. Long, black hair streaked with white. His body is also covered with a short, soft fur of similar color, a bit thicker along the spine from just behind the jaw, along the nape of his neck and downwards. His features are strongly reminiscent of a wolf, including pointed ears, long tongue, and sharp teeth. His hands and feet are fully functional but do not quite look human. His fingernails and toenails are retractable against the tips of fingers and toes, able to extend into half inch sharply pointed and slightly curved talons. His singing voice is very good and he has a strong affinity for music. His mutation is that of strength, speed, agility, endurance and incredible regenerative capabilities as well as highly developed senses of hearing, sight, smell, taste, touch, balance, kinesthetics,etc., and an affinity for hunting and tracking.

Lucas' mutation as it seems part of a strand that includes Sabretooth, Wolverine and a few others. These possess similarities in mutation re: strength, regenerative factor, enhanced physical senses, etc. Yet at the same time each has unique strengths/features and personality traits related to the particular predator for which each has affinity. This group of mutants may represent an evolutionary strand that is at the beginnings of developing into its own sub species of humanity as opposed to many other mutants whose powers and mutations are more spontaneous and unique. Unfortunatley, a certain "sub-scent" tends to make them aggressive towards one another (e.g., part of the Wolverine/Sabertooth conflict.)

Lucas is dealing with a number of conflicts. Unlike many other mutants, his powers did not manifest at puberty, but rather have been a part of him as he grew up due to them being linked to his physical being. Born on a reservation, tribal elders and family decided early on it would be best for them and him if Lucas were isolated, as there seemed to be some unhealthy interest in him when he was born on the part of the government. His grandparents, following tribal tradition, took on the task of raising him in the Old Ways.

His education, then, has been spotty, though other members of the tribe have helped out from time to time in trying to provide him some knowledge of how to function within both the tribal and mainstream socieites.

Unfortunately, his grandparents were betrayed by someone, possibly Lucas's mother who never revealed who Lucas' father might have been, but got involved in drugs and the depression that is a tragic part of her generation of Native Americans. A covert operation by a "black hole" organization led to the deaths of his grandparents and several other tribal members trying to protect him in a sort of Pine Ridge conflict with these forces. Lucas himself fought there, but obeying, though reluctantly, his grandfather's wishes as he was brought up to do, he fled.

He has been on the lam for some time, fleeing a federal agent named Feniman who seems almost obsessesed with capturing Lucas. Since Lucas is not wanted by the law, Feniman must try to do this covertly. Most of the past two years before he reaches Xavier's school, Lucas has been travelling the country, spending time among the mutant underground with whom he has established some strong ties. These are scattered groups of mutants composed of those who cannot pass for human, or have become fugitives.

Lucas has a strong longing for companionship, a tribe or pack, at war with a wariness of others unlike himself. Though capable of great patience, he also deals with a lot of guilt and rage that makes him at times appear very moody. He also knows an intense restlessness that sends him at times running, running, just running. Ravens, the birds, tend to hang around him quite a bit (bit of wolf lore here), and he is quite comfortable with their company, though sometimes he becomes a bit annoyed with their teasing.

Well i just need a name, but heres my descrip

Real Name: Unknown
Nick: ArchAngel
Apperiance, palish skin, long silver hair, adimentium armor and wings, height: 6'2", Blood Red Eyes.
Powers: I did have powers before i meet apocalypse, but he added to them....i was to be the replacement of the Angel...now i am the ArchAngel (forgot if this was his name or not, but if not i got a name for him to change). My origonal powers were to creat large energy balls in my hands and throw them and control them if i concentrated enough, and the power to fly. Powers added were wings to help me fly, and use the extent of my power able to use energy, i am now able to concentrate and send them through laser like items on my wings, and also missiles are mounted on them. Also he showed me how to push it out through different parts of my body, such as my eyes, mouth, and chest if needed in close hand battle. I also have a swords, made of adimentium, that i am able to push energy into to help me battle, yet...i gave up on evil...came free...i wanted to learn the full extent of my power, only that for good though...hopefully the professor could help me...but the things on me now...seemed to be permenat. The only up...is that my wings do retract...not all the way, but i am able to sit down atleast.

I was just wondering if I could join this thread.... I know that I haven't been around a lot lately but RL has been getting hectic for me to say the least.

Anyway, if I can be a part of this thread I have a new character I would like to use.

Height: 6' 1"

Nickname: Shadow

Alec has no real past to speak of, he only has bits and pieces of a shattered memory. He can remember his childhood but then his memory seems to have a large hole in it, he only has snippets of that time. He would like to find out how he got his powers and where exactly he comes from.

Alec has the ability to blend into his surroundings like a chameleon- he can look so much like what he has blended into that there is no possible to see him. He also has the ability to blend into shadows and actually move as one. His last known ability is to produce balls of shadow in his hand and throw them at his opponents- enveloping them in the balls or turning them into a weapon which knocks out the opponent.

18 years of age

Zoe is abnormally thin, almost to the point of being atrophied, and she's very near to being albino -very, very pale skin and stark white hair. Her eyes are a bright, solid, unnatural shade of blue.

Her frail form has no orifices, and seemingly no internal organs; her mutation has made her into an almost purely psionic being. She survives through osmosis, absorbing nutrients and water from the air around her. She has pathetic physical strength and no combat ability, and tends to shy away from violence -and other people.


Abilities: Psionics

Zoe must communicate through weak Telepathy, and can erect mental shielding to prevent others from scrying. However, this only appears to be a side effect of her form; her real strength lies in her underdeveloped psionic powers. In truth, Zoe's sheer destructive potential is frightening.

Psychometabolism: Manipulation of the basic, intertwining energies of life. Through this power, Zoe becomes a living anodyne. This skill fits her gentile nature quite well, allowing her to heal, cure, and enhance the natural physical properties of others. However, the deeper one delves in this power, the darker it becomes, until necromantic effects are attained.

Psychokinetics: Often confused with Neurokinetics. However, PK is much, MUCH more dificult to use effectively, or at all. Generally rage- or fear- induced, it is a manipulation of energy and matter that seems to bunch numerous other Psionic abilities in with it for devastating effect. PK talents generally range from simple EMP effects to massive detonations of Biostatic and Biokinetic energy... and it keeps scaling up from there. Use of PK tends to have a detrimental effect on the mind of the Psionic casting it, leading eventually to insanity or even death.

Since I've already listed who is in the jet, Angelus' char and any other chars should be part of the Mass. Academy student roster. We are about to combine rosters, anyway, so it makes no great deal of difference; I just think it will be easier that way. We can assume that any new people will have been students there for a while, and knew the other students, if only a little, before the story picks up.

I just wanted to say thanks for letting me keep my old Char. As per Neale's req I will try to elaborate upon my char. Quick thanks to those who are actually trying to rescue the char, as a side note he's not going anywhere so take your time the only thing im worried about is Magnus finding him first. When you guys find him hes going to be pretty catatonic so just bear with him.

Vincent (otherwise know as Parasite) is a young mutant who was born with his powers. At a young age it was discovered that he was not only invulnerable but he had the side effect of leeching off of others around him. He lives like a parasite feeding off others. This was never seen as usefull until he encountered other mutants. His ability can feed on and cancel out mutant powers. It acts like a bubble that isolates him from the world. Vincent as of yet has little to no idea how to use his powers. He gains no benefit from the powers he drains, nor the physiological impulses he leeches off in humans,other than the fact that it feeds him and keeps him healthy. He has no super strength or speed, his powers are subconcious thus controliing them is akin to holding your breathe.Other than the fact that hes Invulnerable and a leech he's helpless in a situation like the one he's in. As to what the future will hold that will be seen by whomever becomes his teacher and whether or not he ever really learns to control his blessing/curse. As a side note Vincent loves playing and listening to music, and has some aptitude with a guitar.

Powers: Able to turn incorporeal, minor telekinesis (able to life objects up to 70lbs)

Jonas came into his powers only a year ago, after being thrown into a wall and passing straight through it. When he assumes his incorporeal state, he becomes somewhat transparent, and is unable to interact with the world physically, however his minor ability in telekinesis enables him to manipulate light objects, with some dexterity.
