OOC: Horror role playing

I have just finished watching ALL of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, and I am very interested in doing a RP based on all those old horror flicks. I'd play the villain of course.

Which means I need a lead scream queen... *Eyeing Mistress.*

And a ton of victims... *Eyeing everyone else*

I was thinking of a scenario where the actors and actresses, and EVERYONE else envolved in the making of these kinds of movies start getting murdered, and all of them, in the most cliche way, by the thing that haunts their movies...

Thats just a rough idea, so if anyone can come in and help me iron it out into a fairly good RP idea, that would be great.

I am just really into the thought of making a cliche slasher/horror rip off... Who's with me?!

How about
Low budget B movie filmed on ancient Indian burial ground (which the producer knows about) incurring the wrath of the restless spirits.

Or

Film set is cursed mansion, bad guy kills of all the up coming actors/actresses that will beat him in the next run of awards (sort of a House on Haunted Hill type thing)

Or

Bullied teen grows up to be handsome stud and has his revenge on all the in crowd that made his school life miserable by inviting them to be in the film then slicing and dicing his way through the cast.

Or

Multi oscar winning world famous actor has made a pact with devil which is why he's so good but needs to make a certain number of sacrifices to pay the devil off (This one is my fave so far)


That'll do for now but if you want anymore ideas let me know, most of these can be played cliche slasher or tongue in cheek ala Scream.

I like the above three. The indian spirits would account for a diferent kill/worst fear of each victem quite nicely.

The bullied teen would word for a scream like scenario.

But I agree, your last one is the best so far, a modern faustian drama. That one has real working potential right there. It also allows for the 'going after the other actors' scenario I was wanting to go for as well. What do you say, Shadi, wanna go for that one?

Shadi, hows this for an idea, keeping with your third suggestion, only, every movie this guy stars in, he has 'trouble' getting out of character, its like every time he plays one of these villains, it starts to posess him, even in his day to day life? Sound good? I think I will roll with that, right about... Now.! Heheh!

Sorry ...I've been waiting for the others to post and it doesn't look like they are going too. Why even make a character if you don't intend on posting...it messes up the thread for the ones who wanted to actually write in it. I just didn't want to be one of the only ones posting on a thread unless it was specifically made for just a few people.
