I liked Fira's suggestion basing it on the god who sculpted people out of clay but twisting it to he created furries out of clay ..........what do you think?

Khnum was a creator-god. It was believed that he created people on a potter's wheel using the mud from the Nile.

If we are going with the "god" theme, I think he would be the one to fit the bill the most since he would have been responsible for the creation of the Furries. There are 115 gods/goddesses from the ancient Egyptians, and he's the closest I could find to what we are looking for, I think.

perhaps it can be the Knights of Khenmu or something?
