OOC: Harem Of Fur

If I do the intro post up, I would like everyone to do a small portion as well that I could add to it for each character...I like your idea of ending it with the first day of the Harem's creation!
I will give some thought to more ancient secret societies....fortunately, that kind of History is my forte!
The Freemasons are fairly modern in comparison to our setting...
Hmmm...are all our Masters warriors of some kind?
We could definitely work that angle given the period we are working with.....

Yes, but the Freemasons, also known as the Masonic Brotherhood, has been around long enough that it MAY have gotten its start in ancient Egypt. We may never know the origin, since even the Masons themselves are unsure of exact dates on that, from what I saw on a special on them.

and it could just be used as a template, and we could create our own secret society
 
Yeah that's what I was thinking Dragon and the Masons did indeed originate from Egypt and sun worship ;)

But I was just thinking along the lines of maybe a society of warriors? Assasins or something?
Where living normally is an impossible task and they create the Harem out of a need to satiate their lusts...though they have particular appetites and...spitballing here but ummm...having a regular relationship with their lives is just not going to happen whether it's with a furry or not?

Perhaps our masters formed a bonded brother hood when the fought in some great war together...perhaps the war ended and they were rewarded with the gifts of a small kingdom to share from the country that they served........and with that came the right to import exotic slaves as it is just part of the culture of the time.

Within there great kingdom however they have chosen there own form of worshiping and life style .......this can be the base for the ancient society, that they perhaps plan to pass down through the ages so that their legacy their hero status lives on forever......

Is there some achient god of animals? I assume there is, maybe some celtic or even pagen god can be used it does not have to be middle eastern as its a fantasy based land......I can research that in the morning no worries I have alot of books and resources on mythology, wicca, and pagen beliefs so something will no doubt pop up. But that can be the base for the name of the brotherhood.......if everyone agree's.

I also figure the first post will be posted in this thread first and worked over by everyone then we will start..........boy thats alot of work to start a thread but if we get it right it should be good and long lasting......also no one sort of comment on the rules I sugested - http://forum.literotica.com/showpost.php?p=32892014&postcount=130
 
Okay I read it, must've missed it in all the catching up I've had to do!
The first one - no godmoding...it's a site rule anyway I believe...
The second I also agree with though I haven't roleplayed with everyone in here, I have with you Rayne, Bsquad, Luna and BG so I know that none of you guys have ever done anything like that and I hope no one else will either! :)
The third one...I don't really quote or title mine when I reply in a group thread...I find it simpler to just mention the name of the other character when I reply...
For example:

She looked deep into (insert other char's name here)'s eyes and knew instantly she wanted him.

When I reply to someone's speech, I just copy and paste what they've said then I highlight and use italics...is that okay?
I don't usually change much of my writing with that respect...
I would agree with the idea of using an ancient deity for the brotherhood's name...perhaps something Egyptian? That was fairly common back then...
 
All that sounds fine to me minx...........sorry to say my eyes are now failing and I need sleep so keep brain storming if you guys like and i will play catch up in the morning.

I have also asked faebites to join us possibly as another Mistress...with the possibity of a struggle with power for the misstress's of the harem too......so work on her and see if you can get her to agree *GRINS KNOWING SHE IS PLAYING DIRTY*

What if Furries are either outlawed or being hunted by mainstream scociety? These men have come together to protect them...

The furry Mistress was approached by the girls for help as to how to avoid a certain death sentence, and she approached one of the Furry Masters for ideas. At some point they decided to move these girls out to the desert and run the place as a harem...they elicited the help of other Furry Masters, as well as some human ones...the human Masters being needed to deal with the mainstream public on occasion for trade and whatnot. either that or hearing of the "death to all Furries" law, the Furry Masters come together to try to round up any Furry slaves they can find to move them out to the desert...the human Masters, being sympathetic to their plight, decide to help as well for the same reasons given above and also start trying to round up Furry girls to take with them.

Just an early morning thought that floated through my brain as I sat here and read...

erhm...there are many. in fact, most mythologies are littered with gods dedicated to specific species. Bast is the Lady of Cats, for instance, in Egypt. Anubis is the Jackal God. Bast's sister is the Lioness....


also...it's always something. I went and reinstalled my initial operating system. went to do the partition to partition, only to find the following error message for my Win7 file "Autorun.exe is corrupted" o.o so now I have to redownload that stupid ISO, which should be done in about six hours....

I really like the idea of an ancient brotherhood of some kind. It might not be something our characters have founded; it could be that the brotherhood has existed for generations, founded first by mystics who created the first furry slaves. Some of these furries have managed over generations to rise to the status of masters themselves, while the human masters are descended from the founders. This is their link and their way into the group. They may be the only ones with access to such highly prized slaves and have made fortunes through the sale of these commodities. However, they keep the most prized slaves for themselves, creating a harem in the desert to sate their passions when they aren't seeing to business. Some of these men have been more successful than others, but they are all given equal access to the harem due to their bloodlines.

Just throwing that idea for the origins out there, maybe it's something you can use?

Khnum was a creator-god. It was believed that he created people on a potter's wheel using the mud from the Nile.

If we are going with the "god" theme, I think he would be the one to fit the bill the most since he would have been responsible for the creation of the Furries. There are 115 gods/goddesses from the ancient Egyptians, and he's the closest I could find to what we are looking for, I think.

Which would also go quite well with the theme, since it's a harem, and a harem was a collection of...well, childbearers, for lack of a better term, in ancient times. That brings to mind the question of what would be the opposite of that (a harem of guys...hmmm)
 
Wow...ya'll have been busy. Spent the past 5 minutes playing catch up. So far, it looks as if my signing up is agreeable. That means I have to find an appropriate wolven...since I refuse to be any other furry type (and I didn't notice any other wolves...dogs yes...wolven? No.) Also, would be super great if I had Fae to play with and against. I will add my own pressure.

Now I have to go read my other thread.

Also the rules make sense...I try to write responsively. Therefore should be fairly easy to remember not to God write.
